Thanks for showing the Overstreet price guides. Well, except for that price guide from 1985. It is not from Overstreet. Anyway, i still use scotch tape. I understand people using the painters tape. Those old price guides have value mostly because of the cover art. So i tried to go to your website. It says Shelly comics. When i went to that website it showed new comics. Am i looking at the wrong website?
OMG!!!!!!!!! Price Guide number 10 (with the Invaders on the cover), was my very first Price Guide I ever owned! That is sooo cool to see one again. I read over every page a thousand times I bet! LOL TY for bringing back fond memories! ☺🤗🤗
You shouldn't parse ANY of his collection...it deserves to stay within the family. Build your kids collection through your wallet. I've regretted your thought process in the past.
I think you’re doing what all collectors do, and that is keep or acquire books/things that have meaning to you, and sell or trade those books/ things that have less meaning to you. Keep doing what you’re doing and build the collection you want! This how collectors fund their collection!
7 subs? That could be RU-vid purging bots. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I definitely wouldn't cater to people who might be off-put by you being a seller, either. There are creators with whole ass side businesses that they're constantly plugging. A lil eBay side hustle is fiiiine.

Bob was one of our top comedians and so much for our troops especially during the Vietnam war as wel as the Korean war and WW 2, he did a lot of movies.
I have known Malcolm for quite a few years. He has and Awesome Collection. I also have several drawings he has done for me.I really love the Buck Roger's drawing he drew for me. Thanks again for a really enjoyable video.

@@Pocketsfullofcomics yeah. When the youtube community was super small back in 2015-2017 AOKs were a huge thing. We would be sending multiple out a month. It was a lot of fun for sure.

Bob Hope, a native Clevelander was also a minority owner of the Cleveland Indians for 40 years. When I was a kid, he hosted an All-American Football Team Special around Christmas. It would air on one of the major networks. He would have the players come out, and he'd have a joke ready for each of them. Bob Hope, as has been said, was a comedian. He got his start in vaudeville in the 1920's doing comedy, singing and dancing. He eventually moved to radio, TV and movies and made his success in all three mainly with his comedy, but was still known to occasionally sing and dance in them, as well. His comedies with Bing Crosby sent his career soaring. His success eventually garnered him the hosting spot for the academy awards and later in his career, he would tour with the USO starting in the 40's and throughout the rest of his life, entertaining the military troops wherever they went. I, at 57, didn't get to see him perform live, or, for that matter even see any of his movies in the theater, but my dad and I would watch them on one of our local stations here in Missouri whenever they came on. Watching those, along with the films of The Bowery Boys, Laurel and Hardy, The Marx Brothers, and any old monster/sci-fi films that came on, are some of the most vivid and cherished memories I have of my father.
Also, if you wanted a slightly more affordable option in bags and boards, I’d try the comic pro line OPP bags with the ultra thick boards. They’re INCREDIBLE quality for the price and very nearly as nice as mylars.

with your grandfathers price for that 148 , there was only 3 prices for grades . so , that must've been done with an early Overstreet . the early guides only had prices for good , fine and mint ! so , we're talking early 70's , probably , Tyler !!! pretty cool !!!
I love the 148. The condition is amazing. And it’s funny you mentioned Mike and Jeff’s video on cleaning that comic. While I was watching it one of my first thoughts was I hope Tyler sees this video.
Action 137 for me - Wayne Boring has always been my favorite DC comic book artist. BTW, having comics graded is a huge waste of time and money. (Plus plain unlocked comics sell far better than graded ones.) Subbed today. Best of luck with your Supersite!
