The Nordic Council of Ministers and the Nordic Council are the main forums for official Nordic co-operation, which involves Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Åland. Our vision is to make the Nordic region the most sustainable and integrated region in the world.
Whether you care more or less about the climate change it's definitely in our best interest to try and nudge people towards eating more healthy. If you implement policies that makes unhealthy food less attractive and healthy food more competitive it's bound to make people more healthy in general. It's a great initiative and if done correctly I'm sure that it will improve the general health of the public. I'm just a regular Swedish citizen but I really think and hope that if you lower taxes on what our studies show is healthy food and increase taxes on what our studies show is unhealthy at the same time it will be accepted by the general public even though there's definitely gonna be a pushback from a loud minority.

Very disappointing launch I must say. I was hoping to hear alot more about the actual nutrition and food guidlines from the NNR 2023, not 70% focus on the environmental aspects.
