I'm Mark and I have 30 years in car sales, dealer auctions, marketing and even repairs.
I have one simple focus, to share tips, tricks, hacks, insider info, and offer advice on the best way to get a car buying deal. I analyze good and bad market times, share dealer scams, discuss manufacturer issues and share the background on why things are what they are in the biz.

Ford sales are doing just fine in Canada currently (unfortunately). Their lots are now emptying back out and the wait list for a hybrid ford is back up to 6 months
Cant buy a basic truck that we can afford. Its bullsh1t. Im not spending 50k on a base bare bones truck. You still cant even get a used vehicle for a fair price right now.
I leased a 2021 LIMITED and when I went to upgrade, the prices had literally gone up more than 100 percent. I couldn't bring myself to do it so I just bought out my lease. If they don't come down, I don't foresee getting a new one anytime soon.
just go to carmax and get the EXACT SAME VEHICLE a couple years old with around 20k miles on it and you can get a vehicle that is basically still brand new for HALF or less for what they want for all these redesigned ugly overpriced cars now.
To “fire” some one means that their performance at work is so poor that their employment is terminated. What this company did was “laid off” employees due to a reduction of force. There is a difference.
The US is becoming a third world country. They only buy used cars and only the rich can buy new cars. The middle class is disappearing in this country. Sleepy Joe has single handedly ruined this country in less than 4 years
I bought my first car, a Plymouth Cuda because it was cheaper than a Camaro or Mustang. Chrysler products used to be more affordable and that's what they need to go back to or go out of business.
I refuse to purchase any vehicle that is priced over $30k and I am 48 years old and retired now and I have owned over 30 different cars and trucks and 10 different motorcycles.
Govt will subsidize them again We tax payer s will foot the bill. If govt subsidize in Russia its called socialism And US its called govt stimulus. Fox view is always correct. Very nice.
There all.over priced junk good luck getting 150 k miles out of them pure enslavement junk before u can even pay it off not to mention the cost of repairs when yoyr warranty expires
the big 3 need to do a few things: 1. engineer the vehicles to be durable like the 1975-1982 mercedes w123 200D. it can be done. lots of them are still running perfectly 2. make the cars easy to repair by the car owners. publish and support technical manuals and affordable spare parts, and repair videos 3. cut prices radically, and offer old inventory at cost to clear them. reduce the models and start the electric vehicle manufacturing 4. remove executives without an engineering or line manufacturing background. put industrial design artists in the board room
because: - US unionized auto workers are way over paid. - too complicated ICE due to increasing emission standard requirement - lack of chinese competiton allowed big 3 to markup profit margin - fed money printing, covid cheques for everybody.
The reason vehicles are not selling is because dealerships charge to much for them so I really don't feel bad for these dealerships going out of business.
Everybody has to quit saying this is done bc all the leaders and CEOs are stupid or incompetent. This is what is ridiculous. Wake up. There is a grand plan to what is going on. Some prayer and critical thinking will get you in the right head space. PREPARE.
I was interested in the Nissan Ariya, Their EV, which was pleasantly very nice. And they tried to charge me well over sticker. When they had a 4000 addendum which included.... "OIL CHANGES, TRANS FLUSHES, DRIVE BELTS, TIMING BELT ETC". I told them this is exactly why I dont need this care package, its ELECTRIC, it doesn't HAVE OIL, or BELTS, or any of this stuff. So please take off these addendums. So what they did was take it off, then they ADDED 4000 TO THE STICKER PRICE. DISCOUNTING NOTHING. The dealership I was at was actually pretty BUSY. And there lots of customer in for service, and test driving cars.
There are Stellantis vehicles that have sat on the lot for 2+ years. They have 2-year-old fuel in the tank and lines, 2-year-old batteries, 2-year-old fluids, 2 years of sitting out in the weather. It's likely that condensation and rust have formed in the diff, trans, crankcase.
The most important thing when shopping for a new car is knowing exactly what car you want, some people start asking prices and negotiating before knowing the exact model trim and color. That’s a huge waste of time. Once you know the exact model call or email at least 2 or 3 dealerships to compare price, remember that sometimes the lower priced dealership may not have the car or the experience might not be that pleasant, sometimes dealers will give a very lower price to get you in and then tries to switch you to a different model or upsell a bunch of add on products and services. It’s better to use the price quote and take it to the closest dealership and ask them to match that price, that way you are in more control of the situation. Also to get the best deal you have to be absolutely ready to buy, sales managers are more motivated to give you the best deal if you are ready to buy and don’t make the process difficult, they think that if they’re not making money on the sale then they want it done as quickly as possible. If you’re getting a great deal and start making it difficult they’ll dismiss you and move on to the next customer. After the purchase, give them good reviews and good score on their surveys because if you don’t forget about getting any help with any issues that might come up later.
