I am the Canadian Farmer. I work with my brother and mom every day. I have two full time employees. We farm the land to make food for our chickens so that they can lay eggs so you can eat. I hope you can enjoy the work that we do.
G day CF Yea too bad, it was kinda weird. Boy few neighbors combined winter barley. Good luck! My grandmother always said "the good Lord will provide" Ths
I saw your Canadian Farmer channel, your channel content is very good. But video views are not good. Your channel has some issues due to which your videos are not getting good views. The main problem is SEO.
Is this the 502hp and 567 FTLBS version standard or the truck version with much lower horsepower to begin with? I have a crate 502 in my 68 Vette with GM Aluminium heads and a cam and it makes around 600hp and 600 ftlbs of torque, I am definitely interested in forced induction ( without anything sticking out of the Hood like a Procharger or something similar I am after 750 to 800hp nothing more than that.
I thought my 88 l2850 hours were high at 1700 but after hearing him saying it’s only got 4500 hours on it like that’s low hours I guess mines fine. lol I wonder what’s considered high hours on a diesel tractor?? I’d think mine would probably be reliable for a long time being it’s a 1.7L 4cyl only producing 34 hp. Also only running 2200 RPMS or as low as I can get away with mowing.
Is this all by adding fuel??? Not turbo boost?? Does it even have turbo?? I’m trying to understand because I’d like to know if I could raise horsepower on my Kubota l2850 with a fuel adjustment like this??? It does not have turbo. Do these tractors in the video have turbo???
Just wanted to say afew other things love the size of the tires on the back of your 1155 as well as I like the duel stacks anyway the center section of the rear wheels should be painted red I believe thats the way they were BN anyway thats the way my 1150 is and was BN. ANYWAY HAVE FUN THATS THE WAY LIFE SHOULD BE.
Congrats on purchasing a second gen. V8 MASSEY FERGUSON BAD ASS AG TRACTOR from the old days of farming. I own an 1150 MASSEY and had it, or I should say that my dad bought it back in 74 used I pretty much ran it mostly from the time my dad bought it my brother ran it quite a bit too my dad ran it a lot himself as well in my dads excavation business pulling pans and heavy rollers and one tume my dad had a boom mower on the back it was like a flail type mowing implement it was quite a heavy attachment the tractor handled it quite well anyway I just inherited the tractor a couple of years ago when my dad passed in july of 2022 my dad lived till 91yrs old so ya know can't live forever anyhow I hope that you injoy your gorgeous MASSEY FERGUSON live long and prosper.
Why are you just guessing??? You know how bad the ports are in a BBC? Don’t you? You should be looking at plugs every pull or two to see what the engine wants! Which cylinder’s are lean or rich! You can have an average A/F ratio, doesn’t mean you don’t have cylinders running 2 AFRs different! No valve train checks! Especially if it’s a new engine! Break a spring, drop a valve turn it into a pile of 💩💩💩💩! Best of luck! But that’s how you break shit, by just yanking the handle!
If you ever do stationary pto work with an 1100 series Massey put the H - L transmission range in the middle kind of a make believe neutral spot. There's a coupler on the pto shaft if it splits it can make the tractor walk away. It engages the H-L planetary if it splits. Chances are slim to none but it has happened.
Good day Interesting with chicken barn Yes so it is dry manure. Yes I would think closer to spring the better. Any other style or method of raising eggs is going to get costlier? Store in Waterloo 18 eggs is $6.00 Everything os being out priced that China or lower paying countries can step in & undercut Canada . Too bad about radiator Thanks
I started watching the channel for racing stuff but the farming is just as fun to follow along!!! I grew up on a farm (small scale 300’acres and 300 pigs) so this operation is totally different in every way!!!
Is there more health problems in chickens lately? We have had a tough few months with our young calves in our veal and dairy operations. I saw on a dairy Facebook group that a vet in Wisconsin said he'd seen more calf issues than in the last 40 years.
Well hard to say we keep to ourselves I don’t know what’s going on with the other chicken guys I’m just telling you what I’m seeing on my farm but vary interest about the calf’s
Good day CF Merry Christmas & happy new yr to you guys. Good weather for harvest. Boy no snow I am surprized about chicken lose. I thought chickens wew pretty healthy? Thanks Yes weather has huge factor on yields.
Again, thank you very much for bringing us harvesting material.A question out of curiosity:do you only use the Massey to load the silos?.My friends who watch the videos ask me if they will ever see it in any tillage or heavier work at 1155...It would be great.
