We are a family farm in Ontario showing you what we do on our farm to produce eggs and what goes on day to day. Every day we do chores, gather eggs and make feed. On our farm we plant the crops and harvest them to feed the chickens, also we start our laying hens from day old chicks and raise them to be the best birds they can be to give you a grade A quality egg. After we are finished looking after our chickens, anything could happen from washing, waxing, fixing, welding, working on engines, working on classic cars, and more. I hope everyone enjoys cheers.

I’ve got an 1150 V8 I imagine it would put out similar HP. Awesome looking tractors.

I can’t tell you the HP. BUT IN THE 80s ours pulled a 12 row planter and could plant 140 acres on a tank of fuel. We also had a 12 folding cultivator with sprayer on the rows. Also cover 145 acres on a tank of fuel. Every day

If you ever do stationary pto work with an 1100 series Massey put the H - L transmission range in the middle kind of a make believe neutral spot. There's a coupler on the pto shaft if it splits it can make the tractor walk away. It engages the H-L planetary if it splits. Chances are slim to none but it has happened.

Good day CF Interesting to see how chicken barn is coming along! Neighbour had powerplant with Massey V-8 Now that I know what a turbo can do , I see all these older 6 cyl as fuel hogs, It is like going down road in gear with your truck, instead of putting in netural & coasting. Onelonlyfarmer with 8340 ?? on krone baler runs 14 gal/hr how much is that in fuel? Thanks for now. Oh a tractor scrapper from states was at Polk auction 1155 with turbo sold for I think 3500.

We had 178 ps with our 1155 (engine has not much Hours)

I thought my 88 l2850 hours were high at 1700 but after hearing him saying it’s only got 4500 hours on it like that’s low hours I guess mines fine. lol I wonder what’s considered high hours on a diesel tractor?? I’d think mine would probably be reliable for a long time being it’s a 1.7L 4cyl only producing 34 hp. Also only running 2200 RPMS or as low as I can get away with mowing.

Why do they look at hp? Isn’t the torque the more important number when working a tractor?

Is this all by adding fuel??? Not turbo boost?? Does it even have turbo?? I’m trying to understand because I’d like to know if I could raise horsepower on my Kubota l2850 with a fuel adjustment like this??? It does not have turbo. Do these tractors in the video have turbo???
