My channel is about to be host to a LOT of new content covering PLC programming, fitness and weight management, investing and trading, Biblical studies, photography and MORE.
Presently, you'll find tutorials and career advice primarily of interest to PLC programmers and students learning to program. If you're one of my over 80k students from PLC Dojo (www.plcdojo.com) or Udemy, what you find here will be very useful and familiar to you.
If you're looking for a complete and well-structured course that will take you from absolutely zero knowledge or experience all the way to a serious PLC programmer and HMI / SCADA developer, then check out my five courses. They're the best around - ask anybody!
I couldn't get RSLinx installed on my Windows 11 (Error 1722) so I set up a Windows 10 VM and it worked exactly like yours. I decided to comment because I noticed that in my Windows 11, while installing RSLinx classic is that on the Standard Setup portion of the installation (at around 3:52 of this video) , it says on my machine that it will require 21MB on my machine instead of the 23MB in the video. The Win 10 VM I set up says 23 MB just like in the video so I'm assuming that 2MB difference is what's causing the Error 1722 to pop up on my Windows 11. Just to make sure, the file sizes I downloaded matched yours exactly, so the files themselves should be fine. In the end, the VM runs fine so I can just simply do the PLC practice there but if you have an idea how to resolve the 1722 error I'm getting on my main machine, that's just a bonus
@@d3fyre_rett Thanks for sharing your experience! RSLinx is finicky like that. I run this version just fine on my Windows 11 boxes, but there are times when, for whatever reason: it just won't want to install on somebody's computer. And when that happens, a VM is usually my go-to solution as well. Nice!
@@kaiqueTIAPORTAL Thanks for checking it out! I'm not aware of any such repository, but it certainly would be a useful resource for the community... Have a great weekend!
@@rechard30 The short answer is, "Yes." The better answer is that you define your specific goals in MMLF and then it guides you to them. It's killer! Oh, and I'm 47, so I've got you beat. 🦖
One proof that the law still is valid, is that despite the NT declaring women to submit to husbands, and husbands to provide for wives and both to not deny conjugal rights to the other, no legal nor lawful consequences are mentioned in NT. Also no explanation of the consequences to minor nor major abuse nor neglect mentioned. Either God cancelled all consequences and allows marital abuse without recourse or the main purpose of the NT is grace and salvation and God allowed the law to speak of the truth and consequences of such lawlessness.
@@coryabouaf7713 Also, something to keep in mind is that after Moses, there was NO adding to or subtracting from the Law. As such, we read a lot of SPECIFIC GUIDANCE (advice) in the New Testament, but Paul telling people what's good for THEM should never be interpreted as universal, divine mandate.
Great. If the tree of knowledge and the sacrifices of Abel were in some form part of the law then didn’t Abraham with his sacrifices have a portion of the law?
@@coryabouaf7713 The Law is what tells us what, when, where and how to sacrifice. And, yes: we saw Abraham practicing the Law the same as Abel and Cain (albeit poorly 🥴 ) did.
@@justintroquille5884 I've personally never read a book about PLC programming in my life, but I hear really great things about Liam Bee's book on Packt.
@@justintroquille5884 That's the only book I'm even aware of, but if you're interested in online courses, mine are the best there ever were! You might want to start with PLC Fundamentals (Level 1). www.plcdojo.com
@@ogvicodinmuncher Yes! The people who ignore what I say in lecture 2 of the course and extract the RAR archive with Windows extractor instead of WinRAR: they pretty much ALL have this issue.
@@ogvicodinmuncher Assuming she both talking about PLC.rar, if you've extracted using WinRAR, the setup files HAVE to be there (unless you got an error during extraction). Email me, and we'll set up a remote support session.
@@PaulLynn I believe I got an error during extraction, this is the second time I have installed the programs on a computer and the first time I had zero issues when extracting and installing. I ended up fixing it after just extracting again and it worked. Thank you for the help, support and time as it's greatly appreciated because it did point me in the right direction.
Currently taking your course on Udemy, by the way great course for anyone out there looking for some good PLC 101 course. Thank you for the thorough installation video.
Hello Paul, I am gradudated with Electronics and Communication Engineering and having 10 years of experience in Active telecom domain but now considering to change my job profile. will you suggest me to go for PLC programming.
Sorry, but I really can't say what would or wouldn't be a good career move for you. Decisions like that necessitate the consideration of WAY MORE information than what I have available to me (which is damn near nothing). 🤐
@@hudder8186 There are a lot of ways to look at it. Most of them have value. This paradigm is probably not much better than most, but it helps add perspective to relationships (I think).
@@soorajsunil6301 As explained in lecture 2 (the same place where you downloaded the files from): "USE WinRAR to extract the archive! Sometimes people open the file and see a different (sub)set of files than what is shown in the video / PDF. This happens when they try to open / extract PLC.rar with something other than WinRAR. So - use WinRAR. It's fantastic!"
HELLO, i have downloaded the software. as you mentioned in the video i made that simple program in micro and tried the verify and i got error. what i can do with that
@@soorajsunil6301 Well, I guess that would depend a LOT on what the error is, right? For example - is it one of the MANY errors that's already been addressed in lecture 2?
Hmmm. I did a few videos on that too. I came to the conclusion that the Shabbath was specifically for the Jewish people, like all of the Torah is for the Jewish people. But then the gentiles or goyim are to follow the Noahic covenant in Genesis 9, which is pretty much what the apostles in Acts 15 came to the same conclusion. Then Paul wrote the Book of Colossians and he addressed this and many other issues in Colossians 2:16. At the same time, I think if someone wants to follow the Shabbath as is written in the Torah, they have the freedom too. Sort of like wearing Tzitzits. Shalom from CBBA!
@@TheKeesBoerMinistryChannel I propose that there is not ONE SINGLE PART of Torah that was intended specifically for the Jewish people. I base that on the fact that the Jewish people / Jewish nation didn't even come to exist until CENTURIES after Sinai, not to mention Torah observance from Eden forward. You're in Cbba too?! Small world!!
Thank you so much for the fantastic step by step tutorial on how to install the software. It helps me a lot to do it and it works properly. I can sleep well and study the next slide.😁
I'm babysitting for a good friend who manages a family automation company. She asked me to learn Siemens and work at the shop because of their recent difficulties integrating with some Italian machines at a new plant. It's an odd jump, but I'm loving your class and the story that brought you there!
From babysitting to PLC programming sounds like maybe the best and most dramatic career move I've ever heard! And unless you really LOOOOOOOOOVE you some babies, I'm betting it's one you're going to be very, VERY happy you made!! 🦁
@@tomostojanovic1172 No surprises there! TV has REALLY gone downhill over the years... You should maybe check out the 2003 remake of Battlestar Galactica. Now THAT'S interesting TV! ✌️🤩😄👍
HI, newbie here.. problem installing the rslogix emulator 500, the wizard was interrupted before rslogix emulator 500 6.00.00 (cpr9) could be completely installed. anyone can help. thank you
Here's the exact same reply I sent you to the exact same question you emailed me. Let me know where else you've asked it, and I'll try to get you answered in those places as well: That happens sometimes, and there's not a clear solution when it does. 1) Make sure you've extracted the archive before installing 2) Run the install file as Administrator 3) Removing your Rockwell programs, folders and registry entries and then rebooting fixes this SOMETIMES 4) Using a VM is an excellent solution 5) Reinstalling Windows it using a different computer are options
@@MaxTor2112 The truth is, there really is no "right" one-size-fits-all order to doing the courses. It depends a LOT on your circumstances, location, industry, background and goals (which is why we don't provide any kind of guidance about that course order up front). But in general, my recommendation would be to start with my courses first as they deal more with project development. The other courses focus mostly on system integration, networking and protocols which are important, but hey: what are you going to integrate if you don't have a system yet, right? 😅 So start with PLC Fundamentals (Level 1), and hack your way through Levels 2-5 after that. Those are the biggest, longest courses in the bundle. By the end of those, I'm betting you'll be able to navigate your way through the rest with ease!

Hello Paul The product I am working on is equipped with a B&R PLC, will I be able to understand it and program the logics after taking your PLC course?
Fortunately, all PLCs use the same set (or subset thereof) of five languages based on IEC standards. So, basically, if you can program one PLC, you can program them all with minor adjustments along the way. 🖖😃
I want to start the course of PLC. Should I start all the courses or just basic courses shall be sufficient? What is the duration of the courses? Please also provide the details of prices and procedures to apply for.
@@faseehyousaf7795 Only you can answer what you need to learn and how far you want to go with PLC. You have access to the programs you're trying to understand. I don't.

I'm pretty legendary as far as PLC instructors go. 😉 Feel free to look me up on Reddit or Udemy or visit my training website at www.plcdojo.com. Tons and tons of good stuff!!
You are spot on, Paul. I have been telling people that I care about this for some time now because it seems that we in the west have been brainwashed by the "wokies" to not judge people and this has resulted in people getting hurt. I have had a few close calls in my life where I am pretty sure I was about to get decked kept my head on a swivel and saw the threat coming and was able to adjust and save myself. Judging is important and it is completely OK!
We all judge and stereotype all the time. It's a basic survival mechanism. The sooner we acknowledge it and develop it into a refined skill, the better off we'll be.
Yeah, I'm migrating my domain to another host and it's a little wonky for the time being. Until the migration completes, I won't be able to modify the DNS. But no worries: you won't get your bank account stolen by reading text over an unsecure connection... 😁
