Omg … is this for real ? In 1998 age 39, I had a carotid dissection … now open .. I do CrossFit .. lots of sit-ups .. I guess I’m too old now … no longer fit the profile … male age 39-45 if I remember correctly .. This takes me back .. carotid dissection, diagnosed as a migraine, shot of immitrex .. immediately stroked out .. coma for 3 days, couldn’t speak or spell. Had to do a tour of Asia pacific , pt/INR tests in Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia … always remember the Singapore doctor surprised at 7.5mg of Coumadin “enough to kill a horse” … but here I am 25 years later.
I am a patient having diagnosis FOCAL DSYCOGNITIVE SEIZURE and as per my my MRI it's showing Developmental of venous anomaly left celleberal hemisphere. Inspite of having regular medicine I have 6-8 seizures episodes per month. What should I do? Is there any possibility for its surgery?
Has anyone else who has suffered from this? I was involved in a suicide attempt about 35 years ago and have had an atypical Parkinsonism for those years since the poisoning.
I am a colloid cyst patient myself with severe-Unilateral hydrocephalus. The cyst was 15 mm. The obstruction showed symptoms at the age of 3 and required immediate surgical treatment.
I m suffering from sphenoid sinus with sinusitis, my brain reports are clear , is that dangerous?? But drs said I don’t any surgery , it will be cure from anitibiotics
I have bad headaches and they find that I have pineal syst but the pain is not from that because is very small I have no nausea or vomiting but pain is everyday
I have a sphenoid mass, but I’ve had two ct scans and they both say different things. One says mucocele and that was found on ct plus mri. The second one years later says sphenoid retention cyst. So now I am confused :(. I saw an ent and he said watch and wait but lately I’ve been having horrible ear pain, cheek pain and constant bloody noses all on the left side which is where it is. How do I get a doctor to take this serious? I’m so tired of the pain and it makes me not want to live. They just keep giving me antibiotics and I’ll be ok for a bit then the pain comes right back.
i have got a venous malformation in the left cerebral hemisphere its 0.77mm and getting epileptic attacks from it. I went through egg, mri,ct scan and last thuesday went through a seldinger research through the legs to the brains using levetericatam 500mg 3x a day and lacosamide 50mg 4x those are surpressing the brains, but feel like a zombie all day and night long. Still waiting for a answers from my neorologists of 2 hospitals. If anyone had a idea of it please respond is it dangerious is it removable? thanks already greetings.
Very informative video . Can a colloid cyst cause symptoms without hydrocephalus? . I have a 6mm colloid cyst but no hydrocephalus, I have headaches and nausea.
I had a CT Sinus done & today, I follow up with my ENT for my results. I am so scared. I read that I have “mucosal thickening in the sphenoid sinuses.” How is that treated? I’m scared to have any type of surgery UNLESS I am awake 😩
@@navie3644 Well I have Chronic Sinusitis. My ENT doesn’t think it’s bad enough to where I would have to have surgery. WHICH IS GREAT! But after him thoroughly reviewing my CT Scan results, he believes all or at least most of the inflammation is due to allergies. So, I’ve been referred to an allergist for allergy testing & we’ll just go from there. Really hoping that allergies is the culprit & I can work on treating that for relief 🙏🏽
I have one, then later was identified as an arachnoid cyst. I don't know why the identification changed. I don't have symptoms. My neurologist said if my vision changes abruptly or I start projectile vomiting, go to ER immediately
In 1991, I was diagnosed with a pineal dermoid cyst. My Neurosurgeon first inserted a VP Shunt. This stopped the blinding headaches, I was living with for years. He then performed a Craniotomy, which was unsuccessful. Now, almost 32 years later, I am still alive and the pineal tumour is still present. I can really count myself lucky to still be alive, after so many years, since it was discovered initially.
as a innate cyst, i has this collid cyst syptomps from early childhood aroun 10 years old. I developed tinitus in that age, always had sleeping problems, telling my parents " i have a fly in my brain, there is so much noise in my brain." I came to age of 30 with this colloid cyst even without knowing it. On 23th December 2019, i was hit by a car while crossing the roads which resulted in my skull fracture (epidural hematoma) After 8 months of my accident, i had brain MRI written that i had 7mm colloid cyst in the 3rd ventricle. My colloid cyst has become symptomatic after this accident. I am feeling that there is someting on my left side of brain ready to explode, so much pressure. I had unvolutary chin movements because of left side of pressure. When i put my head to pillow at nights, pressure increases.
I've got a degenerative neurological condition that finally put me to a wheelchair a few months ago plus a dozen other neurological conditions. All of them extremely painful. I'm 40. I must be the only person who believes that I'll ever get better. All neurologists gave up on me years ago. I'm just in a process of detoxification and changing my type of treatment so this lady connected me to this wonderful herbal doctor who put me on the right track with just his herbal supplement and natural diet Thank you ❤🌞 and all the best 🍀 am forever thankful #drobaedo 🍀🍀
