Welcome to the home of Keep Right On - A Birmingham City Podcast. Hosted by Alex Dicken and Brian Dick of BirminghamLive. Here we'll be posting a weekly podcast to discuss the latest talking points at St Andrew's, with occasional special guests and features. We will take you inside Blues and bring you the latest insight.
Very interesting podcast. I do wonder if the improved fitness is due to the Tom Brady diet and fitness regime. We definitely look much stronger at the end of games.
I still think it's too early to really see how we're playing. It's a new team, with new players every week. Sure we're making mistakes, but it's early days yet. We should have a better idea in the next 5 games.
Love the podcast normally but can we hear a little less from that Ryan? He just takes over the whole podcast when he's on, it's just ends up being the Ryan Show
@shairsko9360 is he any more knowledgeable than your average fan? He doesn't say anything egregious but also doesn't offer any insight either, what is credentials to be such a 'knowledgeable' pundit?
Why would you develop a young loan player over Thor who is a Blue, he needs to start and show what hes got...Harris can always come in as a sub and if he truly is better then can change it up, later in season. Thor needs a chance, he has played half a game basically so far, too early to decide
BLUES NEED A LEFT BACK YES AND A NEW STRIKERS 💙 MAYBE FRIDAY OR SATURDAY UP THE ROYAL BLUES WIN SATURDAY 4-2 HAPPY TIMES 😉 🌝 👕 😀 YOU NO IT TRUE HAPPY TIMES FOR THE ROYAL BLUES ✅️ 💙..
Please, please can Brian Dick get some public speaking lessons. His stuttery, stumbling delivery is so irritating. Apart from that it’s a good, informative vid.
The worry for me is that playing out of defence qe can accept the odd scare once every few games, but if we keep giving the opposition 2-3 opportunities each game its gonna cost us. Hopefully just players still bedding in to the system
Our experience is that players get injured. Think about George Hall who got bids of 7-8 million pounds from the Premiership two years agi. Now, he is perhaps just going out on loan. Alfie Chang was such a good prospect, but we haven't seen him in ages. We need to keep Romelle Donovan. If he gets the chance to play in League One, he will probaböly take it. What if Alfie May and Bielik both get injured? We need to have players covering up for them if we're going to advance directly up to the Championship.
Wouldn't worry if Myoshi goes. Too lightweight and gets caught the wrong side of the ball way too often for a player that plays one or two decent passes per game
A decent start to the season and some promising new players. Aware the club have said there will be more signings…. Hopefully another striker and centre half as a must.
Three games in to a project, very early to be to judgmental, but early signs look positive. Once the transfer window closes then the manager knows he has four months to work with players where we will see the bigger improvements
@A pair of dicks. We just need to know when to shut up at the back we where was by far the better side in both halves the score line does not reflect the game.
Yeh if stansfield isn't gonna happen which lets be honest probably wont we need to move on which I reckon the club has. Our business has been kept quiet so far so I assume they still are working hard behind the scenes but they need to get it right so I don't mind the wait. Players will come
The Stansfield saga needs dropping now. I doubt he fancies playing in the third tier & the supposed move has been mooted since early July, so should have completed weeks ago. The fee for JJ was also much, much lower than £8-10M so I suspect that's hit the transfer spending budget. We're still light in the spine of the team, central defender, midfield enforcer & goal scoring forward.
Informative, thank you. Blues are in the fortunate position of having a deep squad. Contrast with Reading, (who played better than blues for 87 minutes) who, (Reading fans have told me), have a very limited squad. Didn't Paik do well coming on at Charlton for final 32 min + IT?
Birmingham city have never been anything and that will carry on the only way your be a big fish in a small pond is where you are now Keep dreaming on that's iin The most awful and boring song in all 4 league's UTV SOTB,,
Someone needs to to shut that lad down, he's making g a holy show out of all of us, with all the rubbish he keeps sprouting ,I'm all for freedom of speech and everybody have a right to an opinion, but it's getting past a joke now
Aslong as he doesn’t celebrate 😂can see him showing some respect tbh seems the type of player . He is a Fulham player afterall so he’s gonna do what he’s gonna do
I felt CD was too emotional at the Reading game. I think he needs to be a bit more calm in his delivery to the players especially when they are nervous in front of a packed house. It can rattle players focus in a game like that and perhaps gives it a look of panic from the coach. I hope he recognizes this and learns as he goes along being his first professional head coaching situation.
@@benpadley4499 Of course he was pissed off. It was quite evident from how we were playing the team weren't following his pre-match instructions. I think his frustrations boiled over. He needs to understand the opposition aren't merely going to roll over & let us play as he hopes. There's some big tough teams in league 1 & we seem to be lacking that bit of steel.
We do need more muscle with the craft we have. We were lightweight v Reading until the substitutions but better v Charlton. Work in progress but I think we will build on our unbeaten run v Wycombe. A close 2-1 win! KRO
New player in to the club 💶💶💶💶💶 4M e FOR NEW SETRBACK WAT AND SEE IF THE DEFENDER COME TO THE ROYAL BLUES YES PLEASE UP THE ROYAL BLUES 💙👕☺️🤩. WAT AND SEE 👍😉 HAPPY TIMES 💙💙👍 ..
Really like your analysis. But could you please analyse what teams will be the toughest to meet in League One? I can think of several, such as Hudds, Rotherham, Wrexham and others.
