Notice in the 22 hand on the river that regs tend to either be trapping with better or giving up, its extremely polar, as such I think your intuition is picking up on the fact that they're either trapping with a set or top two pair, or folding. There are rare instances that villain has say Q3s for a spiked top pair with OESD on flop and backdoor flush draw. What I find interesting in this spot is that due to the over folded nature of villain in this line, you literally have to bluff every combo you arrive to river with, which seems to only exclusively be 67 for complete air and maybe K3s. Which stresses the importance of why solvers continue with some weird hands because obviously they're too weak to call, but they make up some value as bluffs when the river checks.
@JakoPoker
@JakoPoker День назад
Yeah I don’t expect villains to deliberately trap here at any frequency. It’s just once in a while going to be 44 that thinks it’s too thin to go for. So it’s mandatory we go for the jam since there are some 54 Q4 Q5 QT combos that could be here and choose to call. Absolutely bluffing any air we have here, it’s going to be a give up line so often. Not sure if we even want to reach higher up than pure air - hands like A2/A4/A5/65 could be candidates if we double call flop/turn

hey man love your vids you seem like a good guy, but the tanking preflop is just getting ridiculous, you tanked 13 seconds pre-flop with pocket 6s on the button, youre clearly opening that, its really bad for the and youre gonna drive funny players away from the game. youre not gonna give away " timing tells " bro, youre not playing againt linus and stefan.

@@jeffgreen-v7z hey mate, I think you’ll find that I’m just playing slower in general when I record because I’m trying to explain my thought process on other hands. It’s quite tough to talk and play at the same time. I’m never deliberately tanking 66 on the button! For what it’s worth there is MDA on timing tells preflop and these games are the highest stakes on ignition, so there are going to be some crushers around, so I’d be losing EV if I wasn’t considering timing against regs. Certainly no need to consider my timing vs recreationals though :)

i don't really understand the jam with AQ at 25:00 - what are we repping there - pocket 5s, 6s, don't think we have AK in our range.. are we also jamming KQ in the same spot? i feel like even 25nl reg will perceive mainly missed draws in our range.. but then again maybe my perception of the player pool is different. i get that we have blockers to his value betting range.. but then a call or just a min-raise to fold out a random pair that decided to bluff would make more sense..
@gamer-uv2fb
@gamer-uv2fb 13 дней назад
Jamming here also generates fold equity against hands like 77-JJ that the assumed fish can start "value-bluffing" with (=when a fish is not sure if it's bluffing or value betting 😁). By calling here, we lose against random pairs and by minraising we don't generate folds against bigger pocketpairs and weak Kx hands. Recreational players tend to focus on their hand and think less about opponents' ranges. Edit: typos and rewording.

The KK v T9hh, Tx is indifferent on the turn and mostly folds without backup. Whether or not the Tx that arrives at the river is supposed to bluff is quite sensitive to the inputs on the model. AI solved with 1 flop and turn size the tiny bit of Tx without clubs that arrives doesn't bluff. With the standard solution data base that is more complex Tx is bluffing the river. However I am not sure how relevant these models are being that T9s is a mix continue pre v 4b, mostly folds turn and I think population is arriving to the river with a lot more Tx than the computer. I leave the node locking to you. Oh I think you can use either turn strategy B33 or Jam on the double FD A turn. It's so close that when its Td8d5c the AI uses B25 but when its Td8c5d it uses AI. Basically 1 combo of A5s changes the single size turn strategy.
@JakoPoker
@JakoPoker 2 месяца назад
Great analysis thank you! Yes a very close spot overall, but I think it’s a reasonable assumption population will underbluff river with Tx, so folding vs jam makes sense. Does KK fold vs jam in the sim you ran?
