Been enjoying these play and explains. You isolate limpers with a larger sizing than I'm used to seeing from other regs, and with a fairly wide range even versus sub 40 stackers. Gives me something to think about.
i don't really understand the jam with AQ at 25:00 - what are we repping there - pocket 5s, 6s, don't think we have AK in our range.. are we also jamming KQ in the same spot? i feel like even 25nl reg will perceive mainly missed draws in our range.. but then again maybe my perception of the player pool is different. i get that we have blockers to his value betting range.. but then a call or just a min-raise to fold out a random pair that decided to bluff would make more sense..
Jamming here also generates fold equity against hands like 77-JJ that the assumed fish can start "value-bluffing" with (=when a fish is not sure if it's bluffing or value betting 😁). By calling here, we lose against random pairs and by minraising we don't generate folds against bigger pocketpairs and weak Kx hands. Recreational players tend to focus on their hand and think less about opponents' ranges. Edit: typos and rewording.
@@gamer-uv2fb if we assume he can be betting the river with middling pairs then the shove starts to make sense. although Jako assumes opp range is either Kx (TP) or nothing
