Nice snag! Just got one and pumped to sight it in. Question - did yours already come with an additional tape wheel? Or did you order separately? Thanks.
Excellent overview of two beautiful shotguns from Browning. About $1100 to $1700 in price respectively. There is no more versatile firearm than a shotgun. I saw on IG that you got your first turkey 🦃 of the season with one of these guns. Congratulations 🎉 Jace.
I just ordered some of these. I have built several low profile arrows over the years with idea of shooting mechanical heads. I ALWAYS chicken out and go back to fixed blade. Built some rip tko 250’s, 3” Vantec superspine vanes, 100 grain inserts and ordered 100 grain 1.75 sevr. We’ll see.
Great review! I’ve got the bottomland wicked wing and am actually pleased with the patterns on stock chokes. It shoots steel and boss really well. I love this Gun.
I liked the Sevr’s but after killing a nice one could not get the blades back in position! Took it apart and you’d have to be a watch repairman to put it back together!
Just saw this channel, have you used these on angled shots? I wonder about the "wings" being so close to the point. Lastly, did you write articles for the RMEF?
I have written thousands of outdoor articles. I may have done a few for them years ago. Don't worry a bit about the wings. I promise, this head is as legit as they come
@@jacebauserman3612 thanks for the response. I’m doing what a lot of bow hunters are right now, buying a bunch of broadheads and shooting them. I’m a fixed head fan but I like the looks of these. It was an odd question about articles. I think you wrote one called “He came here to die” about an elks lifecycle which was just a great piece as well as one I think called “The other Hunter” about rising paths with a mountain while hunting. Anyways, great stuff.
Shot a sub 150 eight point little hard quartering to with original 1 3/4 head, and it went straight in and 3/4 through the length of his body. From behind the leg to opposite side stomach. Shot a 10 this year from 40-45 with 1.5 ti. and went all the way through, but got caught on his ribs by the fletching, I assume because of his offside leg position. Neither ran more than 80 and they both watched me shoot them.
Thank you very much!! This was incredibly helpful. My link.manual described and emphasized using two numbers for the channel and it wouldn’t give me a second number to pick from. Watched your video and boom, yours were just like mine and as you demonstrated you only need to select one channel number. Armed with that the whole network took about one minute per camera. Thank you again!!
I don't get it, it's still being used as a multi pin, it's just on a vertical stem instead. Still informative, I just don't see the benefit of a single if it's not a single.
imo this is basically a vertical multi pin sight, even with a single dot sight you still have to adjust 10-20-30 yards before those shots manually, a multi pin site theyre already there lol only thing benifitial about this is the clear sight picture. I understand the pins are distracting to some but it still seems itd be better for targets over hunting.
Wow! Brother! Building arrows on the wife's dinning room table without protection to the table is a sure way to get a beating with the arrow and lose of a kitchen pass to go out hunting with your buddies. LoL 😂
I just installed my single pin and I have it set at like 27 yards. In close, pin dot low; out past 30, pin dot a little high. Windage is right on....I just have to practice and know my elevation. I have been practicing by just shooting each arrow at a different distance away. I don't count, just estimate and aim accordingly. I am getting pretty good at this. The multi pin sight I used to have on my bow messed with my eyes and I couldn't focus right. I was eventually pretty good with it, but never great. This single pin simplifies everything. I'm really liking it so far. That's what's great about compound bows...super customizable. Use what works best for you. Thanks for the video, Jace!
