Cuddeback's CuddeLink System allows you to check your cameras without spreading your human footprint across your coveted whitetail dirt. Plus, a cell plan is optional. Simply set a HOME camera in a location deer don't frequent and spread out a series of REMOTE cameras. It's that simple, and this video shows you how to do it. Enjoy my friends!

Cool vid. Just got the system for 40 AC. Thanks for the straight forward explanation!

Thank you very much!! This was incredibly helpful. My link.manual described and emphasized using two numbers for the channel and it wouldn’t give me a second number to pick from. Watched your video and boom, yours were just like mine and as you demonstrated you only need to select one channel number. Armed with that the whole network took about one minute per camera. Thank you again!!

Doesn't the CL Level show you the signal level from the previous camera in the chain and not to the home camera?

Very good video! I’m waiting for mine to arrive, this was VERY helpful. To jump in with Trevy here, was cl loc 003 (remote 2) getting its signal strength from cl loc 002 (remote 1) or Home? Also, what’s the longest distance you were able to get a good signal? I realize terrain and environmental conditions will dictate strength, but I’m just wondering what you were able to get in what appears to be relatively flat terrain.

How did you secure your cameras against theft? Thanks.

I'm interested in buying into the Cuddelink system, but all the videos I've seen people are placing the cameras on relatively flat, open ground. I'd like to see some real-world reviews of how it works in thicker woodland habitat.

@Lynn Eldridge I have the Cuddelink system on my 40 square acres in the mountains of west central Idaho, near Council. The home unit is about halfway down the west border, maybe 50 yards from the border, up the mountain side where I get cell signal. Camera 002 is overlooking my gate which is almost in the far northeast corner of the property, down by the creek where there is NO cell signal. The foliage along the creek is quite thick. I originally thought I'd have to put another camera somewhere in between the two to piggyback the signal, but walking away from 001 (Home) the signal stayed pretty strong, and I found that I didn't need the third camera! I'm really happy with the system. Hope this helps.

I just deployed mine and through fairly heavy woods (not much elevation) it is working great on an 80 acer property with 1 home device on 1 far east side and 1 cam in the middle (in heavy trees) its at 30% signal and then it chains to the far west end camera down in a low area with trees where we get 0 cell coverage and keeps its signal at about 20% still so I am impressed ultimately and that is just with 1 receiver/home/cell device and 2 cameras if you add more cameras it will increase signal

But they take someone tech savy and patient to set up and have a few downsides like no APP and you cant adjust settings without visiting the camera

@@r.minnis9722 I ended up purchasing/using a 4 camera Cuddelink system. It has worked "good" for me, even through dense wood and elevation changes as long as you maintain line-of-sight from one camera to the next in the chain. There have been a couple of small yet frustrating issues, mostly revolving around battery life.

you will be able to changed settings remotely in 2020 with a firmware update

How does it do over hills...if you know? I totally want to use this system for mailbox security 1/4 to 1/2 mile away...in the mountains so lots of hills...and nature observation, living inside the Chattahoochee National Forest

How do you access the pictures from the home camera? Is it over WiFi? Is there an App? How about image management?

Be cool if you did a follow up video after a year of use if you're still using them. I've heard battery life kind of defeats the point of the cuddelink system.

With the D battery system and a booster they can last 4-6 months- or so I have been told. Just ordered mine set up that way.

Thank you for your video it was very helpful setting up my new cameras, I have one question, I have a total of 4 cameras, one of them is the home camera, I thought #4 camera related to #3 and 3 relayed to camera 2 etc. Back to the home camera, thank you

When you check the home camera do you shut it off before you pull the card?

Just wondered if that makes it lose the connection to the other cameras.
