Welcome to Walnut Springs. This is a second channel related to my primary channel RunBikeMike. Here you will find videos and shorts about tool reviews and how to's.
Also if you just switched to Aspen fuel… that can cause all sorts of starting issues… went from VP racing 2 cycle fuel to Aspen and my saw will not even attempt start… even if I wait a few days it hasn’t started. It ran fine with original fuel for a tree shut it off and hasn’t started since
I use this saw for blocking for my plumbing and it works real nice. 5 amp hour battery, 24 tooth diablo blade and knowing how to use a circ saw and it's amazing. This guy definitely doesn't know how to use power tools properly but he will eventually. It's all about experience. I've cut through 2x (4, 6, 10, 12) osb, 1 inch plywood, I joists and 4x4
For the person whom stated he wouldn't use this in a shop. I am a class 7/8 mechanic and i use the Bauer lineup in the shop. Bauer meets the need for everything I would use a Milwaukee for, of course Bauer isn't in the Milwaukee class but they do the job well and the warranty on the batteries and tool are a HELL of a lot easier to deal with then shipping off to Milwaukee and waiting for months for an answer.
I like mine. I wish it had a laser light to pinpoint the center of drill hole on the work piece. But that would probably put it in a different price category.
The fact that something as minuscule as a little laser light addition putting it into a different price category speaks volumes to predatory pricing practices
Thank you, only thing I would add for those watching. When tightening the green nut don’t forget to put an Allen wrench or screw driver in hole on base plate to keep it from spinning while trying to tighten housing.
I just got mine after 2 months in MO as well. I tried it out, sad it comes with no oil. I just wish the head was canted more, it rides too close to the fence line. I bought the quick change head, def worth it and roll of the HD orange.
That sharpener may look good when it's in a vice, but out in the field a hand held file works just as good. The flat file never even came close to the racker teeth. I would not buy it.
You are the man I was about to chuck my MS250 into a woodchipper, tried your trick and it finally started, worse part is its new only used it like 4 times, gas was good, carb cleaned and getting spark but would just flood. Was at my wits end. Thanks for the tip
They redesigned the hercules version and totally ruined them.. they are weak now.. nevertheless, the bauer remains the original style. And this impact wrench in 1/2 in is what I have.. I think torque test channel tested it and it will hit about 300 ft lbs.. if you let it eat, but 450? We'll it is stout enough to maybe break loose 400ft. Lbs..but it won't produce that on a normal operation.. and yes, the 5ah rocks with this... this is the one to have for regular car and pick up lug nuts. I recommend it.. they say the 3/8 is just as strong 💪
My chainsaw just goes full speed right when I start it and I dont know what to do I tried ajusting the carb and one time it idled good but then it went full speed again after a few seconds without the throttle being pulled
I think not only should you be able to move it around on the shaft (and you can adjust it in this way apparently) but the bar should also adjust (slide adjust to shorten and lengthen with a locking pin slide adjuster).
