The name I use everywhere else is Manocheese. This channel has videos of glitches and speed runs for Ocarina of Time, Rayman 2, Donkey Kong 64, and a few other games. For more information about Donkey Kong 64 and Rayman 2 glitches, see the SDA Strategy Wiki:
“We’ve been shooting this guy for like three hours now and he’s not dying! Shouldn’t we try something else, like running him over?” “No! Keep shooting!”
-If you relay Leif's turn to Vi right at the beginning of Turn 7, does the Abombination used by Kabbu later on reset the Relay usage? Because if so, I think that could allow for one more Frost Relay of damage, provided Charmy granted you extra TP.- Shoulda checked the description early. Do you plan on making a guide specifically for damage dealt when missing attacks? Because I first thought that when Vi missed her basic attack, her attack power went down by 1, but I noticed that most of the time, a missed input results in 1 damage, but sometimes a missed input can deal 2 damage.
I probably won't expand the guide to cover imperfect action commands, unless there's another case like Frost Relay where doing the action command wrong increases attack power. Since the player usually wants to deal as much damage as possible, it doesn't seem worth the effort to cover all the ways to deal less than that.
@@cheeseoman Hmm... that's a fair point. It'd still be interesting, but I guess I'll just have to make it myself. IDK if I'd have the stamina to experiment close to 1000 times.
@@legendgames128 If you're still interested in an answer, loosely using the terminology of the guide, I'm pretty sure that, at least for basic attacks, conditional attack applies after whether the attack hits or misses is decided. Effectively, missing the attack sets unconditional attack to 1, and the rest of the calculation is unaffected. Probably the main culprit for you is just having the attack be at the front, but stuff like charge, the ATK up status effect, elemental advantages, the enemy being frozen and I think Last Attack and Poison Attacker all will increase the damage of missed attacks.
I analyzed the video and determined the ranking of the pilots: 1. Captain Falcon 2. Dr. Clash 3. Jody Summer 4. Blood Falcon 5. The Skull 6. Super Arrow 7. James McCloud 8. Octoman 9. Billy 10. Gomar & Shioh 11. Jack Levin 12. Draq 13. Samurai Goroh 14. Kate Alen 15. Zoda 16. Pico 17. Roger Buster 18. Dr. Stewart 19. Silver Neelsen 20. Michael Chain 21. Beastman 22. Baba 23. Leon 24. Antonio Guster 25. John Tanaka 26. Mighty Gazelle 27. Bio Rex 28. Mr. EAD 29. Mrs. Arrow 30. Black Shadow
All that for “you got 0 experience points!”… IMO after you hit max rank they should skip that part and transition right back to the environment. Especially since at that point you’ll want to do the Cave of Trials… or you would if battles didn’t have so much fluff attached. It’s fine in the main game but they really should’ve been streamlined for CoT.
When I wrote my damage calculation guide, I had to collect lots of data. I often fled from battles instead of winning them so that I could fight the same enemies again.
if I knew this back then omg I would have been so happy,Exploring and just doing my own thing,We need more guys like you on RU-vid again,Maybe remake some of the old videos with better quality and show off the power of the glitches more.
THAT'S CRAZY MAN! Well kudos to you. That is some of THE best racing I've ever seen. I don't know how you did it because whenever I try to spin at the right time, either nobody is around or they hit me anyways.@@cheeseoman
@@bluekhakis1073 It's been in the back of my mind for a while now. I would like to do it some time, but I've been putting it off because it seems like a sizable project. However, I did see that the number of people who've done it is now up to 11, so it probably won't take too long if I study their strategies. I'll have to relearn GE, though, because I haven't played it in about 10 years.
0:50: Remember, programmers: always check for edge cases. "Hey, Chunky! It's me again!" -But you never met Chunky the first time. D: 4:53: (insert the Duck Hunt Dog here)
I had a softlock when I dashed into an enemy in a corner, and when they fell back down from the dash attack, they locked me into that corner preventing me from doing any inputs. Pretty sure it was the same map you have on #3 where this occured.
