I just wanna bite this. Just do that meme where a creature of some kind has this in their mouth and is shaking it violently. I wanna tear into this like nothing else. I just love it so much that I'm reacting with some kind of messed up cute aggression thing but with adoration instead.

Crazy thing is that before I even read the title I thought "Hey, what if Logan was a villain" I read the title and I got what I wanted. I really enjoyed the video.

this animatic has somehow stuck with me for three years . every time i listen to this song , the " real job " line echoes in my head and it almost feels empty without it lol
When it brought up the quotes from the others, one thing stuck out to me. "Logan, can you just stop? Please?" In that moment, Logan was pushing Patton to something that hurt too much. In all, Logan was trying to help. Despite that, he did really hurt Patton's feelings for a moment there. That was on him. Part of turned to the "dark side" would include the feeling of already being an antagonist. What better to push someone that way than knowing they hurt someone that they loved? Also, I think Logan deserves to lose it. He tries so hard for the others and they don't seem to care most of the time. He deserves to make them see how unappreciated he feels and how much he's hurting. Even if they're not trying to hurt him, he learned to put everyone else before himself. He learned to make himself hurt. The others may not have facilitated it, but they didn't stop it. Logan deserves to scream about it.
This is one of the best animations I've seen on RU-vid. The limited colors, the flow of the shots, and the symbolism in the lyrics. Plus this is now one of my favorite as songs! I first saw this a few years ago, but it has played though my head a lot since then.
*game show host voice* And let me remind you all right now that Logan Sanders is the *only* Light Side who does not wear white on his outfit. With the exception of the logo on his shirt, he wears entirely black as his base colour, just like our Virgil, Remus, and Janus do- coincidence and foreshadowing? I THINK NOT.
I love this song. And I adore this animatic! I am especially impressed by how beautiful the hands are, given that hands usually are a sore subject to people that draw. Thank you for making this!

Hey! I can't believe this video is still popping up despite how much time it's been, especially since I haven't posted anything in forever. But I'm very glad you enjoyed this! To be fair, I used to do these videos in the most unorthodox way possible, by drawing each frame as a separate drawing on Photoshop and then stitching each PNG back together on Vegas. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy hahaha, but if you're looking for an easy and cheap animation program to start experimenting I would 100% recommend Krita! It's free, intuitive, very useful for both drawing and animating. And if you have just about any editing software (seriously, anything works) you're good to go!
OMMG!!!!! Seeing Thomas unconscious, hurt by PAtton of all people, and I am a bitch to animations like this. It just brings so much raw emotion to the moment for me, so beautifully captured here in the facial expressions. Realizing he was laying pone like that and needed legitimate protection WOw.
This is AMAZING. Love the character movements, very vivid and I like the more realistic style. My favorite part's got to be 0:58 cause the hand movements are just 😭😭 Just sooooo good. Probably my favorite Candy Store animatic.
