Absolutely, and we've seen how much power he holds with the "dark sides". Janus had to keep him out of the courtroom scenario, and Remus tried to kill him with no success (and we know that he CAN have an impact, he knocked Roman out for a whole episode).

Anna Midnight I was actually talking to my friend about this and saying that all the sides definitely have an alternate and I was thinking orange was Logan’s!Also thinking all the sides are gonna have a two part problem episode but that’s just a theory

I see This too Cuz everyone has a distinct coloration "dark" or "light" side patton is light blue roman is red virgil is purple Jamus is Yellow Remus is Green and logan is dark blue? it kinda makes sense and it would differ things virgil being accepted and "turned" into a "light" side and jamus being accepted but deciding to work from the "dark" side to help thomas better and logan thinking the "light" side doesn't want them(just gonna say this now cuz the light side feels way more like emotional side and the dark side seems more like the factual side to me pat roman and virgil are all very emotion based personalities and deceit and logan are litterally information based personalities remus would be like... this fact exists... even if you don't like it it doesn't make a fact go away a goldfish in a condom can exist

What really frustrates me is that Logan's efforts are almost completely never aknowledged. At the beginning he was a little more open I think, and the others actually listened to him for the most part, but as they stopped paying any attention to him he tried very hard not to be seen as a joke and lost his cheerfulness. They straight up didn't want him in the courtroom, he realized he was probably being too direct with his interventions so in the latest episode he made that lowdown thing in an attempt to "be less invasive" and what was the response? An irritated "you very much did not succeed".

In the newest episode in logans lowdown thing we wasn't even bothering them,like talking that is, but as soon as the skip button appears( Aka Janice snatching him up) Patton automatically clicks it. -hewasntevendoinganything-

Like him complimenting Virgil after the debate, agreeing with Janus's points in the last video, accepting intrusive thoughts as normal. He said himself that "reality is not so black and white"... I just like this headcanon so much

Absolutely, I'm a sucker for color theory! Technically yellow is complementary to purple, not blue (and one may argue that between light blue and dark blue it's closest to being complementary to dark blue), and if we consider how Remus and Roman are actually quite similar it would make sense for Janus to be Logan's dark side, since he and Logan both provide compelling arguments that they back up with evidence and references to famous scientists and philosophers. That being said we know that Janus and Patton are essentially the opposite of one another (selfishness and selflessness), so having the orange side being Logan's dark side is possible as well as incredibly intriguing for me!

My personal head cannon is that either Patton or Logan are actually orange since there both blue. But neither are orange because Thomas doesn’t like orange.

To be fair with you, I did this before the new video came out. When it came out I was already almost finished with the editing and I just thought about including the audio clip from Logan's lowdown. I did NOT expect for the new video to back this up so much!

It took me forever to find the audio clips 😂😂 but yeah, even if they didn't necessarely mean any harm, stringing them together kinda makes you realise how much they've done this.

"With purple hair nobody will take you seriously, and onesies are childish" Yeah. Again, that could very well just be the transition from the teacher character from Vine to Logan, but still, he used to smile a lot more.

I really like this theory. With Virgil it's a bit complicated because objectively what he does and what he encompasses is strictly related to the other dark sides. For example, Janus is self care and self preservation as well as selfishness amd deceit. It's easy to see how too much of that could be "evil" or dangerous, and the same goes for anxiety. That being said, I can 100% see Logan as a grey side. His opinions reflect both the ones of the light and the dark sides, and he stated himself that "life isn't black and white".

While this is an amazing theory, Logan didn't hurt Virgil, although Logan did make up for it. We know this because, in the episode where Logan and Virgil have a debate, Virgil admits that he believed Logan didn't like him because Logan called Virgil a defeatist. (This implies Virgil was hurt about what Logan said, as it is clear that The opinions of the "Light sides" matter to Virgil, as seen in accepting anxiety, Virgil would only return when every side wanted him back.) That's a very nice theory. After all, being emotionless is what Logan is trying to come across as to balance out all of the other emotionally charged sides.

And to be honest, while having to wait this long for Logan's arc is quite the task, I really like the idea of Logan's arc being the last one, it gives him a lot more room to develop! I think this is so cool-- it reminded me of a part in Learning New Things About Ourselves where after Roman calls Logan stupid, he screams and hits Roman in the eye with one of his flashcards. It's a little subtle, but after that happens, it cuts to Logan with a surprised expression, like he didn't realize he did that. Idk how much that would tie into your theory tho

That's exactly what I was trying to convey with the "gravity won" part. It's likely just an adjustment that had to be made from the "teacher character from vine" to Logan, but it still saddens me, especially if we consider the onesie thing.

I'm surprised at how close your interpretation is to my original idea: the sad and bitter resignation of the frames at 1:00, the orange light becoming more intense and the calculated anger. I was struggling to figure out how to depict someone as composed as Logan slowly letting his anger out, and I tried my best to make the viewer feel like him: it seems like he's about to snap, you can feel the frustration building up, but ultimately he fixes his tie and pushes his feelings down again. That's why 2:21 feels so powerful, even if the only thing happening is Logan slicking his hair back. I'm sorry, this ended up being really long, but thank you again for your comment, I really, really appreciate it!

See, this is why I love theories. "His reasoning for being on the light side is because it evens out the scale", now that's what I'm talking about. Logan would not believe in the whole "light and dark" sides thing, he knows that they're all equal parts of Thomas, but he also knows that the so called "dark sides" all manage to get listened to in one way or another: Virgil raises his voice, Janus shuts others up and Remus can't really be stopped from doing his thing and conjuring unpleasant imagery. Logan could easily think "I really don't want to do this, but it is imperative that you listen to me, and you give me no other choice".

I can't wait to see who the orange side is going to be! And I really hope it will have something to do with Logan, since orange is complementary to blue. Maybe he'll be the one "dark" side that Logan can't deal calmly with, like he did with all the others.

It's very unlikely given the fact that we would still be "missing" a side, or colour, if one of them switched, BUT it's a headcanon that I love and that works perfectly with Logan's playlist and this song in particular! Thank you so much for your comment, I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

@MoonFox Technically Logan isn't dark blue, but indigo (which is just another shade of dark blue but whatever, it's one of the colours of the rainbow so...). So yeah we would be missing indigo. :)

@@midnight_art well ... he did make a tweet about artists interpretations of Patton having round glasses so with that in this animatic as well as how closely Logan's eyes resemble this animatic I think he may have used it for inspiration. He said in a livestream a year or two ago he often watches and rewatches an animatic or two for whatever ss epi he is working on at said time. =)
