OK question. If my service light is NOT on, and I want to reset the service counter after replacing the oil, will this procedure STILL work? Is there anyway to see how many km left until service?
@@NaughtyGoatFarm I don't believe there is a way to check how many kms are left. I don't believe it will reset until the spanner light comes on either. Thanks
2012 (67k miles)Tiguan, had the turbo and transmission charge pipe / intercooler replaced. Drove it 30milee so far and it is shaking violently. All work completed by a dealership Lewisville Texas (was not cheap ) had no vibration issues prior please help on what to even say. Please I need this car functioning

I have a captiva diesel sx and the engine light has come on and it is in almost limp mode. Gears 1 & 2 are ok but going up a hill or gear 3 it won't go past 2 rpm.
It definately sounds like it's in limp mode. You would need an obd2 scan tool to check the fault codes but it could be a blown intercooler hose as these are very common on the diesel captiva.
You actually say "just" in just about every second srntrnce. Great advice but as I stsrted to "just" hear the justs, I had a hard time staying focused ;). Maybe it's my letter combinations? 😊

WHY do people use test lights to check fuses?? WHY? - this is the 21st century- USE a multimeter set to ohms. You can get these things at Harbor Freight for about $5. You don't need to turn your key on, you don't need to worry about whether you have a good ground and, most important- NOT ALL circuits are powered regardless whether the fuse is good or not. Take this video down- it's been up for 7 years and it's still useless.
