Y'all are going to get hurt doing shit like this that's a commuter vehicle not an off-road vehicle they are in no way built for the woods and if I were you I would be riding in a urban area on pavement. It's kinda embarrassing isn't it
Looking forward to upcoming videos of both Wolf Rugby II's... I've had one for about 3 years and I am now starting to ride it more this summer. I want to upgrade a few things here and there, so your videos will help me with that. I will only be using mine on the road, nothing off-road.
Have you ever removed the silencer from your gy6 red exhaust Cz there is a bold under the tip of the exhaust if you remove it you can take out the exhaust
I’m working on recording content and will have some new videos soon. Honestly they should be inspected occasionally for wear and replaced as needed. The ones that failed were cheap aftermarket parts that I should have inspected long before this happened. Thanks for watching! 🛵
That belt shredded on my husbands bike. He replaced it and the clutch and the variator. Runs now but no speed won’t get above 25 miles an hour and it’s not as loud as it was before. Any ideas greatly appreciated!
Sorry to hear he is having some troubles with his scooter. What scooter does he have? Even a 50cc should be able to achieve speeds greater than 25 mph.
I would check that the new variator doesn't have a speed limiter installed. It's a small ring, about a 1/4-inch thick, that goes between the front pully halves to limit their travel. Otherwise you may have to tune your setup by changing the variators weights. Lighter weights will increase your RPMs like shifting into a lower gear and heavier weights will lower your RPMs. I hope this helps.
@@SCOOTERBILLthe variator didn’t havea restrictions on it. But, thank you for the suggestion from checking that it gave him the idea to check the weights of the rollers and see if a different weight would make a difference. The ones that came with the new variator were 8.4 grams each and we had done that were 5.3 so he switched them and now he’s got speed again :) Again thank you for responding to my question and helping with suggestions!!!
That is a great question. I currently own two Wolf Rugby 2 scooters and for their price they are one of the best Chinese scooters you can buy. They are relatively easy to work on and parts are inexpensive and plentiful. Thanks for watching!
While I can't disagree that most Chinese scooters are made from the cheapest parts available and would not hold up to that kind of riding, I can say that my breakdowns have been from parts I changed out from stock. Thanks for watching!
Typically converting from a 50cc to 150cc gy6 requires welding new motor mounts to the frame. If that's not an option, you can always install a big bore kit to get some more performance out of that 50cc. Thanks for watching!
I've been hibernating like a bear! Seriously though, we are working behind the scenes on some new content right now so stay tuned. Thanks for watching!
THAT is why you're well advised to go maybe a 1,000 easy miles & then swap out to a Gates Power Link Kevlar belt. Variator upgrades already ? You riding it at 55+ mph is def severe service. If you C A R E F U L L Y upgrade the GY6 I'll be curious to see your performance & longevity factor. Good work - subbed !
I definitely have not been easy on this scooter or any of the parts I have changed. It has been great even though some of the parts I used have failed. More to come. Thanks for watching and subscribing!
I noticed this vid is about 3 yrs old. Do you still recommend? Also...I'm 6' 1" 250. Is this scooter big enough for me? BTW...this will be my first ever scooter.
I put one on was a Amazon 40.00 man it was so loud you can see through it I took it back off looked good carbon fiber look but it was to deep of a gusty sound
He messed with / modded his Variator from the get go. And prob kept the stock belt too. Goes with the territory. Prob would've gone 6,000 miles / a year + IF left stock. On all Scoots you're well advised to be mechanically inclined. Japanese or Italian too. Goes double for Chinese.
Thanks for showing .. I liked your video so much .. I went ahead and subscribed/liked.. I have an older Zuma 50cc 2009 with about 10k miles that I really like but getting old. So I a few years ago I bought a 2018 Zuma 50cc and didn't like it as much as my 2009.. I wish I could buy another new 2009 zuma 50cc but they don't make them any more.
