Freemont is the best if you want to gamble. If you and the kids want to look at everything please stay on the strip. People want the perks and don't gamble have ruined it for everyone else.
Vegas has been and always will be an awful place to live. The only reason why that city is still around is because moronic people keep throwing away their hard earned money to all those corrupt casino and over-price restaurants. Vegas has so many problems including worst education, illegal working, stealing, robbing, driving without insurance, idiots complaining saying they never get paid enough, panhandlers, illegal street venders polluting the streets like a third world country, drug addicts, mental illness, DUI, reckless driving, hit n runs, Cost of living way too high including gas, water, cable TV n internet, food, restaurants (about 80% of them are absolutely disgusting), Awful builders and realtors who lie and cheat so they can make more money. I can go on n on n on. To sum it up, people don't move to Vegas because it's a good place to live, they move here because states like CA, OR, and SE has turned into a sh*thole 💩by the Democrats, BLM and woke nonsense.
And here's news from Summerlin! Someone let their dog take a huge kaiju of a dump in the middle of the hallway of my apartment complex and just left it there for others to clean it up. And this is a really nice apartment complex. That's like the worst thing I've seen happen here. Not much happens here. It's summerlin.
totally agree !! I remember the days of comped rooms, free packs of cigarettes of your choice, all the free drinks you wanted, and decent inexpensive buffets. the main thing was to get you into the casino to gamble. if you played table games for a while, you could get the pit boss over and he could give you a comp to a show. things sure have changed lol !!!!
Well, it is official. Las Vegas is the most expensive city in America. The increases in revenue fail to take into consideration the diminished value of the dollar due to inflation. It simply costs more to get less. As money cheapens, the experience of Vegas cheapens right along with it. Tourists are being left with feelings of being fleeced. Use to be the Vegas experience compensated for the fleecing. Today, that compensatory experience isn't there.
@lasvegasbreakingnews1752 that's why people need to stop going or at least stay downtown where it's much cheaper. you have to vote with your pocketbook and the prices will come down.
@@wayneheard8095 Agree. Do think we are currently nose diving into a major recession. When enough folks stop going, Vegas will have to drop prices and increase the value of the experience.
I avoided both Papi Steak and Salt Bae steakhouses, I can't stand the douchey vibe of both places. And you can as good or better steak at other steakhouses on the Strip.
I stand with Ellis Island & the other businesses and neighboors impacted. Why are they letting Formula One inside a small congested tourist area anyway ? If the Atomic Bombs can draw crowds outside city limits . id think the casinos could round up their comp'd players as well as tourists for more room to spread out outside the city in limits. As i see it, you cant keep an accident from happening.
Good Morning from Toronto 🇨🇦!! The steak case is ridiculous, it gives frat house dinner vibes 🤦♀️. Thanks for another informative and fun Vegas vid. Please give my favourite a kiss and let it know I'll see it in September! Cheerio 👍👍
We haven’t been to lv in 13-14 years but we came to gamble so Fremont was the place to go, back then way bettef slots then strip and had 1 dollar black jack, 2 dollar cross with 20x odds, no 6/5 or triple 000 bs, el Cortez, plaza, Fitzgerald ( whatever it is now) were great and you had a legit shot yo win. I also like Fitzgerald cause they had a little tiny pool no one ever went to, you could swim, sit out, listen to music, it was in the back away from the noise, good to take a break after my wife would shoot through 75percent of our allotment on the first day. Golden gate too, and even the golden nugget was better than strip with the strip feel. And if you dared to walk past the bus stops outside Fremont there was a lot of good, at least decent, restaurants for cheap. Looks a little different on this upload but still pretty close to same, a lot less gentrified in downtown for sure.
Was in vegas once 2001 and ventured inside this casino . Had a glass big cat enclosure I remember. These are good casinos strange they have to be demolished and not renovated
