Pretty sure its someone (Ringo) banging an 8th note rhythmn (1 & 2 & 3 & 4 &) out on a timpini. Someone pounding a C chord out on a piano/Electric guitar (Paul/John ?) ran through a leslie cabinet (The whoosing sound) and someone playing an indian style melody on a distorted electric guitar (George)... The reason you may think that it's not that though is because of the quality of recording. They probably did a number of tape reductions on it and back in those days it was well known that the fidelity of recordings would diminish with each tape reduction you would do so they tried to keep it at a minimal at most times. That's why this sounds like a lofi analog recording and why you may think its not any of the traditional instruments they were playing when actually it is.
This is an awesome trip down memory lane. I miss this place as well as Game Town in Pine Brook and Family Arcade in Parsippany in the 80s. Thanks for posting
Wow I didn't realize it was still there until 2007! Made lot of late night weekend visits to the arcade back in the 80's when all the games were still a quarter. Looked like it was still a money maker in 2007.. a shame they had to close it down. Anyone know why it closed? The space is still there with the windows blackened . . wonder if there are still games inside..
I was a regular here up until the auction. I can’t believe I can’t find myself in this video. I had to be working that night and came much later. What’s funny is I remember the dude at @5:31 in the Naruto headband. Used to beat his ass in KoF11. He was one of the worst players. If I was in this video that’s the machine I would have been at.
If that's true, then what are the shapes or carvings above the handle of the drawer? And why would a cabinet have such a huge drawer, especially that high up? Are there any real life examples of a Japanese cabinet with a drawer like the one you're proposing?
@@paunchstevenson i dont know, but i don't think Nintendo would just randomly place a creepy face in the background for no reason at all. If its not a drawer then its probably some other house decoration.
@@huggystoriesbr7998 You're right, why would Nintendo do that? I just wish we had a render of this room from another angle, or even a less cropped version of this angle to see the rest of the design above the supposed drawer handle. Has anyone reached out to Nintendo for an answer?

I see Frog Mario from Mario Bros 3. The two “eyes” at the top that many think are Yoshi’s eyes are the frog eyes from the suit and below it, is Mario’s eyes and face smiling with his mustache. Just my interpretation.
I met Jeff when i was 3 years old. He was working at the place where he met his wife. Locksmith on the corner of Market st in Passaic. I brought my bicycle in and he fixed it for free. He was a great guy and a legend. RIP Jeff.
I understand arcades losing money to people with home gaming PCs and systems. But why would they close an arcade that was always packed with paying customers? Went there lots in the 70's and 80's.
The owner of the space kept raising the rent for the arcades owner (Rich). It got to be where it wasn’t worth it anymore. Since the arcade closed nothing has taken its place in this space. It remains empty still.
As a kid, Face man was my favorite character on the show, but as an adult it’s definitely Murdoch. He has a lot of quick subtle humor that’s easy to miss, especially as a kid
