The Treasury Secretary was a former Chairman and CEO of Goldman and Goldman was quickly allowed to convert to a bank holding company to give them access to easy credit from the government. They received $10+ billion on easy terms from TARP and much more from the Federal Reserve. Wall Street is all for no-regulation, free market capitalism until they cause a disaster and need the taxpayers and the Federal Reserve to bail them out.

This guy says we can program children of the future. We can remove unwanted things from their minds and bodies. Like we can bring an end to homosexuality. Why do we waste resources on people who do not procreate? Why not just delete them from society and prevent them from ever being born? His philosophy could bring about an end to everyone like him and yet he still propagates it as essential in the future. His compulsion to destroy that which God made because he can rather than he should. He does not speak in United States television because they would destroy his desire to twist mankind to his will.
I see a future quite different than he does. He wants us to determine if a person is gay using algorithms and I say why wonder at all? We can simply gene edit them out of existence and never hear of them again. You see how this happens depends on who controls the technology and its my bet they will be straight and religious and incapable of remorse for those they deem undesirable. Ppl smarter than me says he is very smart but it looks to me like he is bringing about an end to his own kind. How smart is that.
NYC was "better" in the 1970s because Times Square hadn't been turned into a Disney Store; it was easier not to have a lot of money & live in a kind of genteel poverty; Brooklyn hadn't been gentrified & price hiked to death with $18 artisanal pints of beer & $25 bars of milk chocolate, etc....
