When I was a few years younger, I actually kind of liked the Nissan Juke. These days I look at it and all I can think, it's a small city car that's trying to be an SUV.
So here's my count : 42 crashes for Richard, 46 for Jeremy, 28 for James and 5 for the Stig. On the rare occasion that 2 presenters crashed into each other and I couldn't decide who's fault it was, I counted it as a crash for both of them. I also obviously didn't count the top ground gear force clip as that wasn't a crash. Interestingly, Jeremy has a few more crashes than Richard but most of Richard's crashes were much bigger than Jeremy's. You're welcome!
Thank you for including Harry Gration in the Reliant Robin as he was the man of my home region of Yorkshire for 40 years on Local Look North and would do anything for our region and for him to have a small moment on one of the world’s biggest programs make me happy watching this episode following his death in 2022
Only James could go the wrong way at the start of the Botswana Special. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I love Clarkson shouting "MY ARSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" in the Bolivia Special! 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Tonight….. we meet at the border post between Zimbabwe and Botswana….we crossover from Uganda into Rwanda…..we get told we’re not allowed to cross from Iraq into Iran due to political reasons…..we arrive at the scary Turkish border….. we cross into Syria with Hammond blaring Genesis on his radio…..we crossover into Jordan and then Israel…. We bid Hammond farewell as he is last in our race to the us-Mexican border and has to cross into Mexico…Hammond falls asleep at the Argentine-chile border…..May and arrive at a river crossing lacking an bridge…..we race to run out of fuel before reach Chernobyl near the border with Belarus….we arrive at a strange border between Georgia and Russia….and Hammond and I arrive at the Cambodian Vietnam border in things that are not cars.
Right, I was actually saying this to myself, as I do every time I watch their Ukraine roadtrip. The town that was built along with the plant was called Pripyat, but there is also a town called Chernobyl very nearby (15 km south) from which the plant took its name. And unlike Pripyat, that town is not fully uninhabitated today, even though it's "supposed" to be
@@vinylyearprojectnah they woulda been scared off at most with maybe some broken windshields or windows and dents in the car, Americans aren't crazy. The closest was probably in Argentina when the police were making baracades for them to travel the roads and it still wasn't safe, half the filming was done on phones for that bit
7:11 I still remember how when this first aired, as soon as Clarkson mentioned the towns name everyone in the room watching fell completely silent. My heart actually dropped in my chest as, tbh, I’d forgotten briefly that Chernobyl was in Ukraine. I mean I _hadn’t_ but it’s one of those ‘oh that’s right’ moments.
