Ive been using Jeremy's "An" bit for ages now and i love every time i use it.

For the last grand tour special I hope they get James May to do a fast lap at the Nurburgring

James May's heroic save in the Esprit V8 actually shows what a great driver he is.

- Eating weird food (Lamb’s head, sparrows, dragonflies, snake heart etc.) - Richard is a closeted American - James is from the past - “Mayday!” And May’s other nautical terms - Being bad at cooking (caravan fire due to chips, cooking chicken with a jet engine, V8 smoothie, paella) - Bikes are bad and bikers are going to die young - Crashing into each other on purpose at rendezvous - “I’m nursing a semi” - Jeremy’s ideas that somehow include some form of human rights abuse - James yelling “Clarkson!” at the top of his lungs (+ “the silence was shattered by the shriek of an animal”) - Pianos falling on Marinas - Hating the Beetle - Polar bears and ice caps - Americans are fat - The French surrender - Anything to do with World War 2 actually - Various accents - Bad translation books - James is bad with animals - Richard Hammond is an angry man - Jeremy fitting lavatories/bathrooms to his cars - “Dear so-called Top Gear…” - James likes classical music - James also cut his penis off - Cars that are exactly the same as their previous model (Eg: Porsches are Beetles) - The BBC hates Top Gear, Top Gear wants to move to ITV - Fifth Gear - Jeremy doesn’t understand technology - Hating camping - Alcoholism - Voice controls in cars never working - Idiot drivers with Sat-Navs - Hating diesel - Hating speed cameras - Hating speed limits - Traffic Wombles - the Highway Code - Health and safety clothing - “It developed a misfire” - “Buffeting!” - Lurpak spreadable butter - And on that terrible disappointment…

Im not really into cars and I always enjoy watching this show. I feel like thats why its so popular. It appeals to people even if they arent big car nerds.

Video idea: Clarkson being defensive of his ambitious but rubbish ideas and/or Clarkson's rubbish ideas getting the better of him Here are some examples: - Cutting the roof off his lorry in Burma, and he ended up having to use an umbrella. - Using a log as a brake, and smashing out his window. - Designing their electric car, it was ugly (but somehow iconic), Hammond needed a cutout in the roof, and the aluminum body blinded them with its reflective body. - The Excellent, enough said. - Using animal bones and flesh for his custom Land Rover, and it got destroyed by a doggo. - Using a jet engine for an amphibious car for speed and power, and he blew a bunch of airplanes over. - Thinking he could drive the hovervan up a weir (if that's how you spell it), and he fried the engine. - Using a big boat engine for his Hilux, and capsizing it by going full speed. There might be more moments where his ambitious but rubbish ideas got the best of him, let me know.

The "James doing it properly" line, just seeing it written like that makes me giggle uncontrollably.

I watched the series so many times and I still can't believe that Richard Hammond a.k.a The Short Hamster survive all the fatal crashes that he got involved into. I have to agree with Clarkson that Hammond with all his car experience but still can't drive in straight line.
