I use them for my lawncare business. But this is the first time seeing one that opens on the machine . How does this install ? Curious to what makes it work.
It essentially has a pin and a hook that allow it to quickly hook on to the side discharge. Then using a quick connect plug, you clamp to the mower's battery which powers an electric actuator inside the grass catcher and a toggle switch than can be magnetically mounted wherever suits you best. This video shows it pretty well - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pyG-9O02Ly4.html
Thank you for the suggestion. We'll add that to our list. We do offer custom attachments to different mower brands outside of our six standard compatibility brands - for additional cost on orders of less than 10 units.
You can find current pricing here - shop.kageinnovation.com/advantedge-kit-aekit.html. The price difference changes with the size of the plow. Choose the "Kit Size" and then you'll comparative pricing when you go to choose the cutting edge type.

I put a pair of poly paddles on my toro and it performed terrible . Went to the all rubber toro ones and it works great . The originals are more flexible than the polys so I think that has something to do with it . Buyer Beware ... They were not this brand in the video but they are the same poly material , I think they suck
I’m sorry about all the things I said about your mothers while installing these on my 721. 😉There is place in mechanical hell where you are all going. 😅 I got mine installed, but mine were not even close to being as flexible as what you show in the video. Took two vise grips on the rotor and a third to hold the nut on the belt side 🤬🤕😂
Good question! Removing the box does allow you to get closer to the objects in front of the plow. However, if getting that close is not necessary, back dragging can still be effective with the box on. The trickiest part of this application is having enough traction to back drag uphill, which is achieved through the snow tires.
