The KAGE GreaterBar Land Plane for skid steers offers adjustable scarifier depth with a range of .625 inches to 3.125 inches. This is accomplished through the addition or removal of either a bar spacer or teeth caps.
Maximize the ripper depth by removing the 1.5 inch thick spacer and utilizing the Hardox steel teeth caps. Minimize the scarifier depth by utilizing the spacer and removing the teeth caps.
Teeth add up to 1 inch of ripper depth when brand new. Worn teeth caps may not add the same depth. We recommend using the teeth caps whenever possible to reduce the wear on the fixed teeth and simplify replacement of the scarifier surface.
The GreatER Bar with ripper teeth serves as an excellent gravel scarifier for roads and driveways and also works well for scarifying dirt for lawn preparation.
