Hi everyone, My name is Mikey Woomer. I'm a truck driver, and I have alot to say. So please sit back, relax, kick your feet up and try to enjoy yourself. Thank you for watching, please subscribe. Join in on the conversation. Don't be afraid or shy. Love to hear everyones opinion.
Awesome stuff brother. Ive been saddle hunting for a few years too... I am a big dude too! I also subbed to the channel. Check mine out too. Take care brother and have a great and safe season!
@@adamwiech4874 I know man.. it really makes me mad. I basically have a paper weight. But this bear is ok.. nothing special but it will work for me for now
It's gonna be a struggle no doubt. Idk if you made it to where I said I got really dizzy or not? Being a truck driver that's something I'll have to keep my eye on. Other than that I had a little stomach ache but it didn't last long. I'm excited for my second shot
@@MikeyWoomer I watched half way, being watching so many videos lately. But so far most I have seen was woman who been or started on the GLP-1 pens. So happy when I came across your video, something fresh, a guy sharing experience. Well done and thank you for sharing!
They are great stands. Would be the best except for two drawbacks. First are the sharp edges on the traveling block and the second is the noise when you lock the cables in place. That metal-on-metal clank can be a showstopper. I did swap out my seat for the mesh seat and that really made a big difference in all day sits.
That thing looks quality. I just bought a summit viper sd last year and I’m usually pretty good at judging where my cables need to be but I really hate when I have to get back down to adjust. I wish I would have known about this climber before I bought my summit
@@jasonsmith3726 I've been there man. It sucks getting starter so tight in a angle too. I still put it in a little angle so I don't have to make a big adjustment going up. But it's so nice to not have to climb down if you miss judged it
With 50 classes already I seriously doubt the ASA will add another class let alone a unknown class. They seem to be moving more away from the unknown game. Let’s face it it’s much easier to shoot a known class than to put in the time and effort to judging. That’s why the number of shooters at the IBO events are much less. It’s hard, but it’s rewarding.
@@trivetjw pins 45 was a dying class last year. That's why they dropped it and created hunter 45. Now pins 40 is dying. As much as I love the pins Game... I could see them dropping pin 40 and maybe making a hunter 40 or 35. Or something like that. Judging is awesome. Ibo world's was a blast. The unknown game isn't disappearing anytime soon.
@@MikeyWoomerI love shooting unknown. Like I said, it’s hard, but rewarding. I had a phenomenal year in the IBO this year. Just got to figure out how to repeat it.
@@trivetjw that's awesome man! Glad you had a good year. I had my ups and downs. I'm still very new to all of it especially judging. I hate that I'm kicked out of hunter class.. but im Glad that I am too. I think I'll only get better by moving up. I've never judged a course with a single pin sight tape. I've only ever done it with a pins setup. I'm working on getting my Hunting bow set up with a good sight tape and single pin. I'm gonna go see how bad or good I am real soon haha. What class do you shoot?
@@MikeyWoomerVet class. I shot my first year in the hunter class in 2021 and struggled. Switched to Vet class and a slider single pin and put in a lot of work but I like the slider much better.
I second the hunter 40 vote, it’s a track to grow into hunter 45, then eventually a PRO hunter 45. You’ll kick A** in pins 40 buddy…till I get there haha. Much love brother.
@@levichesney5615 dude you need to get on Facebook haha. We hav4 so much fun there. I'm posting 10 times a day haha! I hope they look at a hunter 40. I thought about reaching out to them just to see if maybe they will listen to me and try it. They could make it a smaller arrow diameter 23s and less.. make it 280 or slower. It would probably kill pin 40 but man it would be a gaint class. I think I'm gonna send them a message on Facebook and maybe email them or something. I want to make sure they here me lmao
@@ramsaycountry1177 you are right! Haha I even listened to the video after I made it and I didn't catch that I said that haha. Good catch brother 🤙.. they do have I weird new rule tho. I'm not 100% sure off the top of my head. But if you're bow is under 290 fps then you can break the 5 grains per pound rule. It's a new rule and I'm not really sure about it so don't hold me to it hahaha
@MikeyWoomer yea, my wife falls under that rule of not getting over 290fps so she can shoot an arrow less than 5 grains per pound. I shoot AHC so I'll be seeing you next year at the IBO's.
Thanks buddy! Awesome hanging with ya and shooting the shit with ya. I was gonna maybe make the jump to open 40 but I think I'm gonna give pin 40 a go instead. Advance hunter class and pins 40 are very similar. And I have a great pin set up. Don't be afraid to go give hunter class in the ibo a shot. That class is so much fun. I'm gonna really miss pins 30 & hc..
Hey man. I’m a big dude as well. 6 ft / 310 pounds at the moment. Working on losing the weight. If you had to pick one mobile setup for the year would you do the saddle setup you run or a summit gorilla climber?
@@roberthill9802 all man that's a tough a call. As much as I like my saddle I love my climber too. If time and money is a issue at all I'd go with the climber. One thing with my saddle set up is it's heavy.. I wish I spent the money and bought some lite weight sticks and a platform that was lighter. I like my xop stuff but it's the few yrs older now and there is some great lite weight options out there. The reason I say time is because it's gonna take time to learn how to use all the different things. I think saddle hunting is more fun. But my climber for me personally is so much faster. Hope that helps you and not confuses you more haha
@@MikeyWoomer Thank you. Enjoying the content man! I’ll pickup a climber this year and hopefully be down 50 or so pounds for next season and grab a saddle at that point.
@@TRC1989 you will have a hard time finding a set of limbs for it now I'd think. I still have 2 Athens. I got the bow to shot target with. And I want to be part of a company in business to help grow and be part off. That's one reason I really liked Athens because they was small. And I loved the bows. But honestly dude.. the bows are great. It's a shame they lost there company and screwed over so many small shops in the process. My Elevate is a great hunting bow. And my peak 38 is a great bow too. I just had no reason to keep the bow. I had a guy who wanted to buy it so I jumped on the opportunity and bought a elite verdict's with that money. Wish I would have bought one sooner than I did honestly. This verdict is a freakin beast. I have shot my best scores ever with it
@@MikeyWoomer I just bought a brand new Axxis 35 for $500. Never been shot. I’m waiting on it to get to me in the mail and wanted to see as many reviews as I could and talk to anyone who has one to see what they thought.
I like your videos. Good stuff about pin shooting. I shoot 30 pins in Oklahoma ASA. I have never been to a national shoot, but thinking I should get that experience. I went to Paris Tx ( western regional) had a blast and won it. What was the biggest surprise/difference when going to a national shoot?
I was sitting here thinking. Why is he doing this at the sink and not the table? What if he drops one and it goes down the sink? lol 😂 An then you did. lol 😂 I just ordered a half dozen set of the 5mm fmj. I’m Interested in these tho they look more solid than what Easton throws in.
