New Bow!! Shooting my Elite Verdict! Getting ready for The Asa in Minden LA. This new bow is taking 

Hey Mikey, nice to hear about your ASA journey. I feel u about the wind. I'm not as stout as u & I'm older. The wind here in MN has been blowing hard to 6 weeks. Some days the chill is below freezing & the dewpoint is lower than that. I've been losing my voice when the dewpoint is way below the temp. Same thing all winter which has been mild but too dry to snow & my neck & throat has suffered the most. I've been wearing a turtleneck mask that tucks inside my collar everyday. Only way I can function. I was shooting my ILF barebow recurve quite a bit in February & doing well even though I didn't have my arrows for it then. Today is the 1st day that I will be shooting all 2 dozen of my 3.2 mm recurve 500 spine arrows. Most aren't fletched yet & I need to bareshaft all b4 I will put 2" or 3" feathers on to shoot off the shelf. I have a Prime setup like yours with a gripper on the bottom which I put a 10" stab. into. I had a couple of Prime's that were shorter & just hunting bows that I'm sending back to Prime. The CT-5 I have setup shoots better than them & the weight offsets my shooting. But I had some 27's made by Victory that I made for indoor but they won't fly or group as well. The Blackeagle X-Impact's & the Victory VAP TKO's group very well. After I've been shooting the recurve for a long while daily I can shoot the compound. But not the other way around. One thing that I noticed years ago is simplicity & quality with an open sight window. I can't shoot a multiple pin sight. Only a single pin that is vertical that comes up from the bottom of the sight. Of course it's a Black Gold Ascent Verdict with a 4 power lense. No sight tape, just a few reference marks on the slider. That's what works for me & everyone is different. Hava a good shoot @ Minden. Nice bow. I would probably shoot the 26. You said it like the 27. I think the 26 fly better.
