As long as they're making this game for consoles it will never be cutting edge like the first game was. Game developers always have to dumb their games down so that they work on consoles. The days of desktop exclusive graphics and physics games are long over. Personal request; try making the game more open world this time. A semi-open world with the player having selective missions instead of one forced mission at a time is more appealing to a wider audience than a rail shooter is. It can still be a great story-driven game with a semi-open world. And Crytek, please pay your employees this time. You can't afford to have more bad press, and your studios are too small to make up for it.
Just a suggestion but it would be fun and refreshing if the next game has melee combat like in doom eternal! And probably a time slow skill to accompany the combat
Coming from GTA V modding community, I'd like to create an open world game predominantly set in urban environment. I'm working on very robust PCG system in Blender in order to be able to tackle such challenge. I do everything with it, terrain, vegetation, grass, buildings, interiors, 3D roads and decals and so on. While CE editor is very nice, my *main concern right now are LOD hierarchies* . Can I import for example static object City block A (LOD5) that splits into Street A, Street B, Street C and each of those "Street" objects splits into Corner 1, Corner 2, Corner 3, Corner 4, Corner 5 and so on? Also, is there a possibility to read and modify CE level files? I could just export it procedurally within Blender via Python into an XML file for example. To certain degree at least. And same question would be also for grass instances. Do they rely on masks or can I import their scattered positions anywhere in 3D space (as distributed on my static environmental terrain chunks)?
Crysis 2 and 3, the most successful game, most of the old games are not manufactured due to the latest generation programs and applications, it is not worth the effort for classic resolutions and graphics! We are waiting for solid realistic games such as very successful sci-fi games in which top technologies are tested!
@@chips4582 In Comics Sure but in Crysis 3 there's a voice clip stating he's alive.. And Crysis 3 happens after the events of comics so there might be slight chance he survived 😅
Como olvidar que este engine fue el que trajo a la vida al infame Sonic rise of lyric , la verdad para otros un mal juego pero para mí siempre será un juegazo espero que tengan grandes logros a futuro , no se rindan en sus metas
Gamesdk.pch: no such file or directory. Turning on pre-compiled headers generation for GameSDK did not help. How to fix that? Trying to compile to run the Editor.
I have no idea how to make video games, but crisis is the most lit video game franchise ever straight up even down the line, the graphics gameplay and replayability are off the charts
your editor definitely needs some work. nice tutorial, it was a bit unorganized, I was mainly looking for basic viewport controls, but nearly all my questions were answered.
