This is So Cool! I have never seen such an extensive review on my hometown. I was born and raised here and this woman is doing a wonderful job talking about it! She's so informative and as a local her information is spot on! And one of those unique shopping spots in Denton is called RAGDIVA 🩷 and the square is the go to for everyone's entertainment. It's a perfect place to raise children and definitely to buy a home! 🏡 But such a wonderful job! She gives a perfect overview of the entire city! ❤❤❤ And again as a local she knows what she's talking about! 💗
They are attempting to implement a mansion tax in Illinois... so my wife and I have had it.. Looking at South Lake Texas, or either Boca Raton or Miami Florida...
Hi My wife and I have decided to move to Dallas Texas we do home health, she is a nurse and i am physical therapist, which would be a good area for our profession…
You have a beautiful family! We're currently in the Waco area, (WAY out in the sticks - like way, way , way out there). I'm considering applying with the AISD as a teacher, but I am not a city girl. Are there properties that are more rural?
it's pronounced Wox-a-hatchy. the population has probably doubled in the last 5 years, no new roads to handle the traffic. the traffic is crazy, the restaurants pretty much all suck, there's no good grocery shopping in the area, nothing for families. if you work in dallas you better prepare for a 1.5 hour drive on average, Fort Worth a little more.
I am a senior looking for a safe, clean and affordable senior community. 1200 is my price per month. I am from chicago so I need help. Thank you for your response !
No she did not just tell me that the city manager there is THE Michael Scott! I got The Office vibes from that alone. Definitely thinking of moving here now. 😂
Fort Worth has a good deal to offer. I happen to live in Arlington so we are impacted as well. Don't forget the growing financial services industry. I fear that the cost of living and housing costs won't stay "low" for long. The building of new housing within the city is a plus. Dallas is landlocked which limits what it can do. The Stockyard and Cowboy thing is okay, but it is primarily at the tourists. Museums, arts festivals, and the Botanic gardens are great! The zoo, frankly, I like Fort Worth's Zoo far better than the Dallas Zoo. There are now several universities with a presence in the city. People are generally friendly, but it seems the only "Southern" in Fort Worth these days is Southern California according to a Georgia relative.
IN FORT WORTH TX. They make it impossible to The Retired people to rent an Apt , even if we show enough income to Pay and the stupid government doesn't care just being annoying during the elections to get the Vote and Do NOTHING , Any migrant even if is delinquent make it easier even for free than people that paid TAXES long years !!!!
Thanks for your review. I live in another country but am planning to move to the US in the coming months as I have received the right to work in the US. My profession is civil engineer. And many people say that Texas is one of the best places for a first residence in the US if you are a new immigrant and your profession is related to construction
As someone born and raised in DFW, it’s no surprise that people are still flocking to the area. The main reason is the job market, like you stated. My family and I are on the fence of moving to Oklahoma or home to Texas. We spent many years in the military and are now ready to finally settle down. Our main issue is that regardless of the job market, the housing costs are much higher in Texas versus Oklahoma. I’m going into the medical field so I can work anywhere. Being from Plano, it’s hard to argue against the amount of medical facilities in the area. Only time will tell.
Frisco should remove yellow flashing traffic light which is very very confusing to Frisco visitors. So many tourists will get confused by this light and create accidents! Frisco is a tourist town and other states do not have this light. It is a very confusing light and it hurts tourist town strongly!
My handyman told me renting out my Frisco house, instead of selling out, because all houses that they serviced last 2 months changed hands! Also, they like Universal Studio very much!
Great video!!! As a New Yorker this is firming my decision on moving! I’ve been researching and watching plenty of videos on Texas and this might be our new home!!! I love it! My daughter is 1 so I am actively looking to raise her in a great area. New York is not it anymore
@@livinginfortworth I will move to Texas, I do not know anything about it. I am confusing a lot! 😅 I have a family, I want a suburban place but I do not like rural areas. Is Mansfield too quiet?
You really missed the mark talking about hanging out..With the new development around the stadium and the coming redevelopment of Lincoln Square there will be plenty of places to have a drink. There are also quite a few bars on Division near Cooper that are nice. Also talking about housing and new construction. Unless you have a custom home built, new construction in neighborhoods is for the most part crap. I would never advise anyone to buy a new home. Especially ANYTHING from DR Horton. It's crap with spackle to look like a fine home The phrase, lipstick on a pig, comes to mind.
@@livinginfortworth I didn’t say the east coast is more humid than Houston. I questioned the idea that Dallas is considered humid. Yes, we get some humid days but I wouldn’t describe it as humid in general.
It’s a small city however it’s overly crowded, very pricey, no good restaurants. Far from everything. 20 minutes to any highway. Did I mention how expensive it is to live here? However. It’s SAFE and a good school district and that’s why we live here and want to keep it that way 😡😡
Memphis native here currently living in Saginaw. I was out here for work and family out this way. Frisco seems more my speed thinking about making that move next month.
Moving my family to Texas before the end of 2024, we’re moving from Roatán Honduras. Would love more information about the best cities in Texas to raise a family ( kids ages: 2-8) .
