What I think 🤔 what killed trade schools is the push for college education and feminist and women taking over all teaching jobs in schools I think the growing number of women teachers and less male female teachers and females in general don't typically do trade jobs thus more female teachers pushing for more college cushy jobs because that's where women gravitate too so they think that's the carrier type for both genders

A political class that bites the hands that feed it over and over and over again, and then are shocked when our residents move to Florida, New Hampshire and North Carolina. And when you look at the data, it’s primarily college educated, middle or upper class people, and primarily 25-44. These are supposed to be the people leading the state’s economy for the next 20-40 years, and making the families that will also lead it.

Fun fact, It has been reported that MA is officially the most expensive state to live. #2 is Hawaii. People living in my state of MA are predicted to have to earn over 300k annually to retire. That’s dual income with 2 kids. I have a great job, I earn the most of all my friends and peers. I do not know a single person who makes even close to that, or half that for that matter. That’s dual income, too. I’d have to marry someone who makes the same as me to even come close.
Places like Cambridge and Amherst/Northampton (college towns) are insufferably ignorant and somehow hold enough votes to continuously cause these problems. South Boston, not so much till you hit Plymouth. Go to working class blue collar county’s and it’s a sea of trump signs. There’s hope. And even the liberal towns are hurting. Predicted to retire for duel income households with 2 kids is 300k at least. We are officially the most expensive state in the country, #2 is Hawaii.
