The lack of shades (& no easy access due to being international) stopped me picking them up. I already own most of these shades -- many from Colourpop itself.
I thought I was going to get this but the more that I look at swatches, and look at the layout compared to the original Solmane 2, its just not for me. It seems like more of a companion pallete than a standalone. But what gets me most is the layout of the colors, they just dont make sense to me when they arent in neat organized color story rows. Im like that with all my palettes, one reaon I love CP so much is because you can rearrange. Yeah this one is a pass for me.
I am so surprised there is no peach blush. They have 2 nudes, but not peach. That's just of no use to me. I'd love to try it, but there is no color for me.
I've ordered a couple of shades of this liquid blush. I can't wait to receive them. I realised I never got round to ordering any of the cream ones when they released so I've picked up a couple of those too on this order. I used your code, thanks Amanda.
I ordered one of the new NYX bronzers and four shades of their new blush and Ulta sent them in that stupid bubble mailer and every single one came shattered. So frustrating.
I've bought candles along with makeup and all they put in the box was a sheet of paper. Needless to say, the candles were smashed and glass was all over my box. They requested me to send a picture before they would give me a refund. Which is total bs since my first instinct was to throw the box out bc all the glass. I sent them a pic of the box in my trash and explained how I'm not going to dig through a box filled with shards of glass to prove their shipping methods are at fault.

I ordered IKTR, it seems like it will be that "I was out in the cold" color for me. I got a Sol de Janeiro leave in conditioner in a bubble mailer from Ulta last week where the cap came off in transit. 🙃
@@BurkeanMama I think this is the first time I had an issue with Ulta. Usually with bottles of hair stuff they tape the lids on, this one wasn't taped. Never had issues with broken stuff from Sephora, but I usually don't get the samples I picked (they'll put none at all) which makes me a little disappointed, and I have to make sure they send any point perks I pick because sometimes they don't.
I'm leaning towards getting IKTR...& I had to look up what it meant. Lol I've really been loving liquid blushes recently! Which is weird, because I'm definitely a powder girl. Do these blushes work well *over* powder products too? Also, side note about the bubble mailers (I work at an Ulta) - sometimes your order gets split up into coming from multiple locations (distribution centers, or even a store) based on what is in stock & where. And as someone who has packed orders, those compacts should have also been put into their own individual bubble packages inside the bubble mailer. But I like to pack them like I'm the one getting the package too, so... 🤷🏼♀️

Pretty but easy pass due to color story. Those colors dont work for everyone. I wish they would come out with an amped up nuetral palette with foiled shades and mattes. Mmmm that would be awesome
Amanda, just wanted to say I watched all the way till the end…. Which I always try to do to support the hard work my favorite content creators put into their vids……and just going to throw out there that I ,for one, REALLY enjoy the comparison portion of your videos, I find it extremely helpful and informative. I love that you do them because it helps me see which palettes out of the ones I already own (around 100 I’d guess) that are similar to or almost exactly like the one you are reviewing in which case I can pass on it , or , if it would make a good companion palette to one I already own. Some of us are grateful for all your time ,energy and hard work , so we don’t have to do it ourselves 😂 !! You are amazing and I adore you! Thanks so much!!
If I'm not careful my now month long no but may come to an end. Yay Maggie! Also I've been pining after the first Solmane II and now it makes sense to get both... We'll see. Also I'd love to see a golden and blue look
I wish the blushes/highlighters would have been the highlight of the collection instead of the palette. I'm underwhelmed, if I'm being honest. I'm sure there are others who like it and that's great for them, I hope they continue to love it. =)
I'm so sad they don't have a replacement for the Moon Talk highlighter 😢 I missed out on it and was really hoping they'd restock it some day. I've been using their single shadow in Lola as a highlight since it has a green/teal flip and loving that, but I'm still yearning for a straight green highlight. Thanks to your video, I'm certain that my wallet is safe from this collection 😆 The first blush is so pretty on you and would probably be the one thing I'd want to get if I didn't already have a similar shade, lol. The palette is so pretty too and the look you did purple gorgeousness, but only the second half of the swatches really called to me. The packaging though. Oden's Eye always kills it with the packaging. I think it might be cool to compare it with the Avatar Water palette from Lethal. Some of the shimmers look similar on my screen at least.
Ohh I’m very interested in seeing a blue and gold look and a quick two shadow look. I thought the matte blushes were so pretty, but the highlighters were a bit too glittery for me. I also have enthusiastic barking door bells. 😂 I don’t discourage their barking as it keeps the random door knockers away
Oh no! I sure do wish the Lilac Mist blush really was a purply blush. I would've purchased so fast! Yes, I'd definitely enjoy seeing comparisons from the previous Solmane release.
A special shoutout to your very beautiful and matching earrings . And I wholeheartedly agree on the eyeshadows, don't take them away. I'm always for more looks and whatever the majority wants. I do enjoy your comparisons as well. For now, I'm on a mostly no buy, so I'm just living through watching all the pretty content from all you pretty ladies(all starting with A - funny coincidence).
I think I would have loved the blushes and highlighters of the first collection, had I managed to find them 😑 so so disappointing that they went sold out and never came back. I'm not interested in the new ones.
This palette is pretty, and I like the look you did. I still use the original Solmane II quite often. But I don't feel the need for this as well, it doesn't look different enough.
