Also, life is too short to suffer through a book you don’t like per my librarian friend. Have you read anything by Taylor Jenkins Reid? I especially liked Daisy Jones and the Six. Or books that came out a while ago (meaning should be easy to get at library) that really touched me and highly recommend: Tell the Wolves I'm Home The Invisible Bridge The Art of Fielding The Good Thief Cutting for Stone (I could list books all day. So I’m going to stop myself)

Either format is fine. Book recs: I think you would like the Miss Fortune series by Jana DeLeon. Fortune is a CIA operative who is on a hit list because she killed a crazy bad guy. The guy’s brother has a bounty on her. CIA hides her in a small town called Sinful in Louisiana . She meets some interesting people. Think Female James Bond meets Dorothy and Rose from the Golden Girls. I read 7 of her books in 10 days. Great series.

Try The Magician's Daughter by H.G. Parry. Also, I think I prefer the longer chattier version, but this was fun to watch too.

This month for makeup, I've really just been loving what is my collection currently. 💚 I did read the book Self Compassion by Kristin Neff, it was so insightful! Recommend fully for those who like self improvement type of books. 😊

Book recommendation: Till We Have Faces. It's a retelling of the myth of Cupid and Psyche from the perspective of one of Psyche's ''ugly'' sisters.

Sorry to hear about your experience with your long-awaited tbr book. I finally got my hands on a book I put on my Goodreads "want to read" list in 2017 and am loving it. Not done yet, but so far I'm very happy I finally bit the bullet and requested it through ILL. Do you read mysteries? Historical mysteries? The one I'm reading is A Plague on Both Your Houses by Susanna Gregory and it's so good. Think murder in academia in the 1300s with the specter of the Black Death providing a constant additional undercurrent of unease. And also I finally tried the Laneige glowy lip balm and I can't believe I've missed out all these years!

Enjoyed this very much! I'm reading the Thursday Murder Club now -- pretty enjoyable. I just finished the 3 Rosie books by Graeme Simsion -- I liked the first the most, but all were entertaining and interesting. Before those, I read the 4 Lucy Barton books by Elizabeth Strout, which were phenomenal. Highly recommend those 📚📚📖📖📖

I'm sorry to give you the least useful answer ever, but I like both formats 😄 I see the appeal of keeping it short and precise, but I also like a bit of rambling 😁 I really like the original Black Opium and my mom like the first Opium plus the Black Opium (got some of my hers) and Black Opium Neon. So now I gotta tell her about this one 😊 Love your face ♥ 😊

Ankle socks look so much better to me I’m 46 though so Gen X, I personally hate the longer socks with leggings look as where I from people that I wouldn’t trust with my handbag have wore that look for years so it just gives me a dodgy feeling seeing it!! But I love wide leg jeans and pants
