Would be incredibly based of the HOA didn't accept your payment of coins since they aren't obligated to accept that as a form of payment, and completely waste your time.
I'm afraid to develop my 10 acres that happens to be HOA controlled. I already know somebody is going to quickly spy on me and be a total pain in my ass. My idea is to only install power, water, sewage, and gravel driveway and rent out RV spaces. I will hide everything deep in the middle with surrounding trees and foliage so no one can see, not display the address, and post private property signs. I'm guessing HOA will try to harass me and say I used the wrong color gravel or cut down the wrong tree. Such bull crap. So how can they fine me without knowing my address or being able to mail me a threatening letter?
Based on the title and your shit eating grin in the thumbnail, I'd guess they were justified whatever they fined you for. No need to watch the video and listen to all of the reasons why you shouldn't have to abide the rules you agreed to when purchasing your house. I built myself a self service car wash…the NJ dep with there water tests basically drove me into bankruptcy….federal bankruptcy is a higher level than the local hicks…I was regulated to not pay property taxes until case was resolved The local police chief gave me several citations for running a business without property taxes paid I got case dismissed and went to town office to pay the delinquency..but in quarters…wrapped with account number and contact if by chance I was .25 cents…the useless cow that was tax collector refused the payment I did not make a fuss but insisted she put it in writing…she took the legal tender…25 yrs later I returned to New Jersey and the locals are still talking about it
So basically you failed to do your due diligence before you moved into the neighborhood and instead of following the rules of the neighborhood, that existed before you arrived, you have a tantrum and expect to receive special privilege, because, “yeah I should have read the rules but I didn’t and that time has passed”. That’s some of the most entitled and narcissistic horseshit I’ve ever heard.
Do not agree to letting other people decide what you shall and shall not do on the real estate YOU PURCHASED !! That situation is RIPE for all sorts of s#it jumping -off. Not I......have mega fun with that situation !!! 👍
