What a terribly boring playthrough. I guess you could just pick Rogue and FLY through the entire level... OR you could pick a different character every level and make your playthrough videos a little more entertaining.

I'm sorry that you didn't like it but I was just playing though the game the same way I've done my entire life. Yeah, in hindsight maybe I shouldn't have flown though the jungle stage and actually played though it properly for the video but besides that, you only need a character that can double jump and shoot projectiles to beat this so that's what I always did.

Only really played Lemmings as an adult, I don't think I ever tried it without trainer as a kid. It's a lot more fun with the restrictions! One of the best games I ever played! Used to play the 2 player mode with a friend, what a laugh! Only great memories.

I beat every boss in this game...EXCEPT SEBASTIAN FREAKIN' SHAW. I just couldn't figure him out no matter what hero I used or what tactic I tried to employ. Just kept absorbing my attacks (yes, I know that's his mutant power). I eventually gave up on this as a kid. Hey, I was only 11 lol. Well at least, after 30 years, I finally saw how to beat him. We didn't have the internet in the early 90's lol

That really does sound amazing for a standard STf (I found this looking for Protracker 2 on STe after falling down an ST tracker rabbit hole) - Paulo has made some incredible things on the ST. It looks a nightmare to use though :p
@genblob
@genblob 7 месяцев назад
Yeah it's defiantly not as intuitive as Protracker but you get the hang of it. Paulo is an ST wizard and the stuff he has achieved on the ST is groundbreaking.

Hi! Thanks for putting this demo online. I'm one of the coders of this demo (Nobody). I did the scroller: the font, the color animation and three borders syncs, the clone logo animation and the dolphin animation. Sadly, Maior Parvus is dead now, and I don't have any news from Menta. God (the third member) is still a very good friend of mine though.

This was a pretty good shmup which I remember was much hyped back then (mostly because of the "on the fly loading process") and it's indeed impressive technically but it would have been cool if we also got an enhanced STe version with added in-game music. Talking about music, someone needs to upload that intro tune because apparently it's nowhere to be found here on RU-vid. Anyway good thing that you got yourself a 1040STF! This capture is already very nice so I added it to my playlist "Atari ST the dawn of 16-bit gaming" because real hardware recordings are always much welcome. Keep up the good work man!

I played sometimes this Game on my old Atari STE when I was child. Good title it reminds me The graphics of Hewson’s Exolon on Amstrad CPC or The futuristic universe of games like Dinamic’s « Game Over » or « Dark Star ». Cool 80s plateform/action Game when I also played other Titles like Flood, Wings of Death, Verminator, Weird Dreams, X-Out, Toki, Soldiers of Light, Artura, Fernandez must die etc. Today I have a 520 STf with some games in complete boxes and I’m glad to have them all. Good gameplay, nostalgic :)

This is one of the first ST games that I ever played which was part of the compilation "Action ST Vol. I" that I got alongside my ST for Xmas 1988 and I LOVED it! A nice little action game with a certain arcade feeling to it. It plays well, offers a good challenge, has intriguing environments... It's quite addictive, especially once you get into its flow. But for some reasons you are missing all the items in your gameplay, like the arm extensor that you could find in the container @0:45. These make the game even better, more playable and satisfying. So far, the ST version is the only one that I played but watching some videos of the other versions, they seem good too but the ST version is more likely the best one. It has the nicest graphics (even though they don't take full advantage of the ST hardware) + it's the sole version that plays music during gameplay + it has the best pace (ZX Spectrum is very slow, CPC is a tad too slow whereas C64 is too fast).

@@genblob Hey man. A bit late but good to hear! It can be beneficial sometimes to reconsider some things. One game that I'd recommend right now is Bio Challenge.
