Every time I watch content lately, whether it be 3-D printing, laser printers and CNC's I see people that are breaking through barriers. It gets me excited to enter this market. I don't see a link to your laser cutter, but I am guessing it's a high end model. I looked into your CNC and comparable desktop and Avid CNC is is a high price point. That said, do you have recommendations for both a Laser cutter and a beginner CNC? I've been doing research on CNC's and have been focusing on the Long Mill CNC. Another RU-vidr has recommended Shapeko. I find the LongMill to be at a reasonable price point for someone starting out. Yet I am open to suggestions.
Dude your shed is too close to the house. Buwhahahaha.... This is an outstanding use of alternative resources to tackle a build. If I can ever get my back straightened out, I need to build a 10'X12" shed. Your ingenuity in this build is inspiring.
You need foam if you move your tool box. If they are the tools for you CNC, why doing it, it is a pure waste of time and space, it makes no sense at all
Love the table, i am making my ensuite vanity with my first live edge timber. I believe the timber is gum, I live in Australia. I wanted those same legs for what i am making but i gave no idea where to buy them so I have made it a floating top since i have installed it into a corner. I too have used flooring polyeurothane, its fantastic.
I love your cleat idea! I came up with the same idea when I decided to build a mobile base for equipment I got from my dad's house after he died. I'm using pallet wood for the base and only had to buy casters. Thanks for sharing this.
You have me inspired to what to build one and I am a woman but I think I could do it. I have a table that was built poorly and I stained the bottom white and the top a grey and the two tone looks awesome. Thanks for sharing and teaching!
@ 26:12 you have learned a valuable lesson / gutters cause more problems than they solve / they have ice damns in cold climates and leaves, in the south they over flow into facia / solution wider eaves to direct rain away from house and they give better shade
@ 22:54 glad to see that someone has cracked the code / those latches have been around for years, and I comment on channels all the time telling what you just did BUT I have always used the nylon string that you buy to lay out you form work ( ledger boards ) and if it is the orange type it should make the escape more noticeable
Used these in warehouse 12 feet tall used hyster electric unit to drive to top shelf and pick product. Had to sweep floor daily a single bolt under tire was a lot of motion 12 feet tall. Lol
Make two with space between for work area and multiple shelves. Can make or buy portable hydraulic fork lift have carport between and roll up door for the service bay. Or store rack in trailer for toll components. Install e track to stabilize material.
