This helped replace my pump. I have the first gen LS in my 98 Trans Am and the water pump is the OG. The inlet will not fit any pump older than 2004. I learned this the hard way. GM Genuine Pump and it’s taken a third party inlet/thermostat to finish the job. Be weary and make sure it’s the original pump on these
My phone broke and I just put together what I had of videos. The install was so easy it’s almost bolton. I would say it’s about the same as doing a lift on a truck

Hi what did you use as retainer for the high beam light bulb? My headlight assembly came without the retainer. I was able to only install the low beam light bulb. Please reply.
FYI to everyone doing the 4L60E to 4L80E swap instead of getting a custom drive shaft or cutting the original one and having to put trust in someone to balance it perfectly get a rear output yoke from a 1500 4wd and a Moog 447 U joint and your good to go without doing any extra customization…. But I’d still get a beefier shaft (same as OEM) depending on what you’re doing with your new setup
What year 4L60E transmission vehicle are you swapping out to the 4L80E I'm asking because I am trying to figure out how to swap a 94 Chevy Silverado K1500 4L60E to the 99 Chevy K2500 4L80E transmission
