This is great, thankfully my TD is running just fine (That I can tell) but always thought if it needed a rebuild, could I do it myself? So far, this vid is helping me 1, understand whats going on there and 2, that its not "That" complicated to pull something down and build it back up Great stuff!
Trying to keep the videos shorter and more engaging often means cutting any unnecessary or double up shots. Reinstalling is much the same as removing however you are right in that it is much more difficult to reinstall due to lining up the input shaft.
@@ritchiewalker6194 I couldn’t say, been so busy the past year I haven’t had a chance to touch this car. I will be coming back to it eventually but can’t say when👍🏻
Any chance you got this car sitting around still with the RHD bits? Would be interested in seeing about shipping some of it to the states if you're interested.
Hello, met you @ Verrierdale property yesterday, you bought tyres. I’ve put the family & Grandsons onto your website & videos. Great job by the way, we’ll done!
My D22 failed exactly as you described with surging and power loss in 4th, and the heater switch symptom. Brilliant. Just waiting for the new part. Many thanks for the video.
Hello the fuel system will depressurise as you undo the injectors if there is any pressure left in the system and yes the fuel system has to be bled afterwards👍🏻
@@ReubsModifications hey mate, do you have any tips for bleeding the fuel system in a navara? I tried most things from the book, but it just doesn't want to start up.
Cheers Ruebs, FYI, lights cable can run under the rear plastic strip on floor at rear, likely under your drawers. The rear quater (if not chopped) has holes and gromets to use if needed.
I used to work in a Nissan parts department. The Jap spec vehicles had the real lights, we used to stock them. They could be ordered through Nissan, but when we'd sell them we would have to give the customer the spiel about ADR etc. There's a shop in Perth called Atlas Parts that used to sell them too, I'm assuming they still do.
@MrTexMart Not meant for Australian spec vehicles, fit them at your own peril, not responsible for accidents or contravening road rules etc. The T30 Xtrail had a blank in the rear bumper for a fog light fitted in overseas vehicles. We could sell them, but same deal.
Brilliant suggestion of how to get the rubber boot in place over the piston. I put a kit through a twin piston set off a GQ today for the very first time and your video made what could have been a very difficult job a lot easier. Thanks for your efforts.
Best tutorial l have seen for a long time. Clear, concise, not full of bullshit self promotion for 20 minutes at the start, just straight in, job done and finished. Cheers
Any tips on removing and replacing the vac pump? I'm replacing the injector pump but there's one nut there I can't get to without removing the vac pump first
Depends if the engine is in the car or not, makes it much easier if it’s out. I’m guessing the nut you can’t get to is the one between the block and the pump. If you have a few 1/4in extensions and a wobble drive it should work for you 👍🏻
How you found the ppd intercooler mate? Especially intake temp wise. Just orded one for my triton and noticed was very few fins inside the actully core to disperse heat so curious to know how yours performed That and mine came with pipes all messed up so debating whether to tell them to take the entire kit back and refund me if it actually doesn't work very good Cheers 7:09 7:33
