Hey, thanks for coming to my channel! Every week I post beginner dance moves tutorials and dance tips videos that help beginners feel comfortable dancing in any social setting (parties, weddings, work events, clubs, etc.).
My name is Monika and for the past 18 years, I’ve been helping those who don’t feel comfortable on the dance floor become confident and skilled social dancers.
I used to be that awkward person who would always shy away from the dance floor and who missed out on a lot of social opportunities. Overcoming that is what made me decide to dedicate my life to helping others do the same.
I’m a beginner at dancing and I love how you broke everything down and make it understandable. You really helped me a lot I feel more confident dancing at my wedding coming up
Thanks Monica Maam .. 🌷🌷..! I am over 40 years old .. and I belong from India .. 💐💐🌺..! These steps are great but can't Dance like that in a Gathering where Elderly People are present .. 💁🏻♀️💁🏻♀️👍🏻👍🏻..!
I am glad I trained to dance with a real professional, otherwise I might know as little as that. If that is all I knew I wouldn’t bother getting up to look so lacking in style.

Some things relating to situations that can sometimes occur in social dance that I wanted your thoughts on. What to do if others want to ‘battle’ you, i.e. they turn a social dance into a competitive situation? Or they go next to you and copy your dancing? (Not totally sure if it’s done in mockery or flattery. But easy to lose one’s nerve when it happens). And, on a nicer note, how to take a compliment in the best way about one’s dancing without it going to one’s head or being freaked out. Your thoughts would definitely be appreciated.
I think sometimes ppl would come up to me and sort of copy my moves as a way to connect with me, for me to nice them basically. It’s usually a way to start dancing with someone so not always bad 😊 and in terms of them wanting to battle, back in the day I would always be ready to go lol if you don’t feel like it I would just smile at them and continue dancing
