I think if this style was taught first, men would enjoy dancing much more, because we are often stuck in a catch-22 situation: we don't feel confident, because our moves don't look good... but the main reason they don't look good is because we don't move confidently. I'm not saying women have it easy... but certainly easier, because subtle, shy, even slightly awkward and uncoordinated moves still look fine on them, whereas a guy must have at least a little bit of that "knowing what I'm doing" energy in his movement.

True, plus dance classes don't teach you confidence to dance in front of others which would be very helpful
