I have a question. Is there a jupiter9 version with a replaceable mount that allows the installation of the KP/A-H adapter? I once read that there is such a version but I can't find it anywhere. This is very important to me because I have Nikon F-mount cameras and I want to focus at infinity.

@RetroFotoHouse - On Helios 44m-5, when the pin is pressed in, my aperture blades don't go wide open at f2. The blades are just slightly closed, and there is no movement from f8 to f11 or 16. Let me add, that I just finished doing your quick lubrication tutorial beforehand, and I'm not sure if this issue was present beforehand. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :/
I have the silver Helios, the metal housing needed cleaning but I avoid polishing it down to smooth like you did and preserve the original machined surface line as much as possible. Silvo Duraglit applied in the same direction as the machined surface line then polish off the same way. For heavy corrosion I use small amount of gun oil on a piece of rag dab over the surface and leave it for a day or two it should help lift the corrosion.
Proxy wars are the worst. Poor people, fighing, dying on both sides. If USA would respecr Russia and not involve ukraine, A BORDER COUMTRY, into nato, or formed a fucking coup then russia never would invade. Simple as that 😢
Just got one of these win grinding and stiff focus ring. Going ti use this tutorial to disassemble and regrease. Believe is a 1959 red P. The other issue is i think i originally bought wrong adapter for my sony fx3. Got a 39-42 step up ring with m42 to nex mount. No focus ability. So now waiting on l39 to nex. Its a rangefinder m39 mount. Update. New L39 to NEX adapter allows focus but minimum distance is more like 3M instead if the stated 1.5M on ring. I dont think double helicoid was set properly on service. Also grub screws were oartially broken and not flush so ground on focus ring. Be nice to know proper distances for parts with caliper than markings si ce i think it was improperly serviced.
friend, you are very wrong to call these lenses russian, when they were made in the soviet union, as evidenced by the inscriptions on the lenses themselves, so don't mislead your viewers about this
I have several but one is a KMZ 73 serial start with green markings. I don't think is in this list. No oil on blades and no play. I'm a lucky finder with this one?
@@RetroFotoHouse Thank for your response. YEs it was the wrong adapter. With full frame sensor the flange distance are not the same. With a standard adapter you don't have enough distance from the lens to the sensor. So you need a bigger one. It called: NON-SLR. Or just a large. Need to make distance that is the goal. Without it, it's impossible to focus. Now it's working and it's a crazy lens. Got the first one. Thx!
