I'm from the UK & the Second camper the Rove Lite 14FD is perfect! I'd buy one for sure & they will sell like hotcakes here, we have smaller cars over here so many will & can tow with their smaller engine size cars. The A-LINER SCOUT LITE won't sell over here for sure incl the FREE SOLO OG...that FREE SOLO ROMO will do well thou (again needs a freezer compartment). LUNA ROVER won't be popular. Great video guys!

Been to that dealership more than a few times from our home in Northeast Illinois. Bought a motor home and a fifth wheel from then- Haylett RV. Still friends with Josh and Gene Cutler, our salesman. Gene is down the street at Haylett’s consignment sales lot. Anyway, we are original Nerd Herders. 😊

Joe. Thanks for the great video. I currently have a 2002 Chevy 2500HD with a 8.1 engine. I find myself needing to power up something while I using the truck to do something on my property. Especially needing 120 volts. Thanks for allthe great info. Very helpful 😅😅

You can actually run this without batteries, its been done in a few videos to show it. Basically it will go into what is called "bypass" and the loads will be powered directly via the utility/shore power connection. Why you would do that I am not sure, but say you had a battery failure in a single battery system but had the ability to connect to shore power, you could still use your entire electrical system while waiting for a replacement battery.

Would an EG4 3000 work in a 50amp RV? Can’t picture how to deal with the 2 hot leads. Two EG4s in split?
@2KrazyKampers
@2KrazyKampers 6 дней назад
you would need either two EG4's or only power one leg. That is the case with most Inverters in RV's unless you go with something like the Victron 3000 2 x 120.

LiFePO4 batteries are very safe. They don't explode and If you subject a LiFePO4 battery to harsh temperatures or hazardous events (like short-circuiting or a crash) it won't start a fire or explode. Also, there isn't much difference between being under your bed or in your passthrough considering your passthrough is also under most RV beds

@@2KrazyKampers You need to do a search and watch as these batteries explode and catch fire when crushed at a crusher....they do catch fire, and they "can" explode!...trust me!

Hey guys, I have an camper inventory tip . When I notice I am running low on hand soap, tp, deoderant, disposable plates, laundry detergent, etc, I make a note on my phone that I need to bring those items with me on my next trip. I always check that list when I pack for the next trip. This system helps me not end up with extra junk I don't need & make sure I don't forget what I do need. Hope this is helpful to the community. God bless!

It is important to make sure that the charging system in your RV is set up for lithium. I had to replace my onboard charger for charging from shore power, in addition to my solar charging system for lithium.
@designbuild7128

thanks for the info on size of components. I am curious how many OEM 12v converters in RV's will mate with LiFePo. I have a '22 rig, but everything seems old school (pre-solar prep package).
@2KrazyKampers
@2KrazyKampers 10 дней назад
you can look at your converter and see what it is. Pretty much all of the ones that are put in now can detect LiFePO4. If not, you can simply change out the board. Progressive dynamics makes swap outs so you don't even have to replace the whole panel, just the converter. www.progressivedyn.com/power-converters-2/

So, You installed the exact system I bought 2 yrs ago and installed in my rv the same way. Whats your opionion after 6 months.? I have a lot of suggestions for eg4. Som much could be improbed to make this system as good as you present it. I would not recommend this system to anyone at this point. It will not probide the power you need in a 30 amp rv, the system is not reliable for several reasons incl overheating and the fact is will not turn on with less than a minimum of 100 volts of input from either solar or generator or anything.

Our first time staying at the Fort was 1979 and we have stayed more than 25 times since then. I can say so much about it and will say it will be worth it for some and won’t be for others. It is about opinion. Thank you for sharing details about the Fort. One thing that everyone gets too focused on is golf carts and transportation in the campground and to the parks. We do it with a golf cart sometimes and sometimes without (we use our bikes or the buses and miss the trams that used to go around the campground). As for transportation to the parks and around the Disney bubble there is options and you can make it part of the experience. Remember to slow down and enjoy your vacation and make the memories you set out to make with your family!

We have a 2013 17FQ we bought used. Replaced the battery with Lifepo4 lithium, a power control box that can properly charge lithium, swapped out all the lights with LEDs, did an axle flip to raise it up a bit. Soon we will replace the crappy fridge with a 12 volt. it came with dual 20 lb propane tanks, a microwave, stovetop exhaust vent, and an electric hitch jack. With a few mods it's good as (or better) than new. Funny how new trailers don't come with batteries. Also, if you want to keep a trailer lightweight and inexpensive there will be compromises.
