White males are waking up, no need to risk your life and be disrespected when you can get a good civilian job at a shipyard, be trained for a trade and eventually end up in the private sector making 6 figures and being valued and appreciated for their skills. If you get good grades , math and basic vocational trade skills in high school,as a young male and reasonably fit, the shipyards are hiring. Graduate high school, and apply for apprenticeships in the trades gentlemen.
My generation watched our friends and family be sent off to fight and die for foreign oil and government special interests. They weren’t defending freedom. My generation made sure the next generation knew what happened. That’s why no one wants to join. If you say they were defending our freedoms, tell me, how was Syria endangering our freedom? Yemen? Iraq? They didn’t have WMDs like they told us. All we found was their gold. Afghanistan? They had nothing to do with osama bin Laden… Don’t you find it odd that the Taliban didn’t want us to build a pipeline across their country then 2 years later we had a reason to invade them? It was oil… we were fighting for oil. My brothers and sisters died for oil, not for our freedoms! OIL!
I worked in budget and programming for the Air Force. The army is always short of their needed personnel. It’s just not true to say that the army has never been 45,000 short.

Maybe it was the 20 YEAR illegal war in Iraq,Afghanistan that was the real culprit. Maybe people have woken up to the fact that serving in a far off land to protect Corporate Interest actually has nothing to do with Defending the Nation. Stop recruiting with pregnant pilots, drag queens, DEI and lower ed standards. This country wants strong young men defending it. A GI Joe commercial would be a better recruitment tool.

Donald Trump as an outsider? They must be joking. Trump was as "inside" as it is possible to get. A very wealthy man from a very wealthy family, hobnobbing with other very wealthy families. Hanson talks about him as though he was some Horatio Alger character that achieved greatness from poor beginnings. Donald Trump was a spoiled rotten rich kid, who has never been acocuntable in his life. His parents left their children over a $1 billion, giving them a pretty good start on the road to wealth.

I will not be voting this year because both candidates (each whom represents a variant of dystopia) are terrifying and I can't figure out which one is more dangerous.

Its more like 49,000 less now since the military fired 4,000 soldiers for refusing the covid vaccine. All 4,000 were offered to rejoin the military after the pandemic but only 3 rejoined 😂
If you were a Christian, then you know a scripture says, we all fall short of the glory of God! This is exactly why I left the church. I agree that neither Trump nor Biden are perfect but Trump truly loves this country. People are not able to feed their families, they are being silenced. Crime is rampant, open borders are destroying this country. So you as a theologian might want to think again who you should vote for.
You know you have a point but I think it's more then just alienating men. It's 2 generations now that have had considerable hardships just trying to live in this country. Noone wants to sign up to fight or die for a country not worth fighting for.
