I agree with this and I disagree with this too…yeah they burn around the same calories BUT hiit in most cases allows you to retain MORE MUSCLE …. And that’s the thing…. When I was jogging super heavy I was burning tons of fat but I also sacrificed some muscle…. Once I started just walking everyday and doing hiit 2-3 times a week , I lost fat but also KEPT pretty much all of my muscle
Damn this idiot is still floating around? I wouldve thought he took off for good last time. He got laughed off the internet with his alpha male preening the first time
Don't know about everyone else, but I space out at the gym a bit. Probably more meditative. I'll get all sorts of ideas and solutions not focusing on them. And then I get weird ideas and puzzle them out routinely. You don't need to be hustling to be hustling.
I do one chest exercise and don't worry about it. On the other hand I consistently blast my side and rear delts, my biceps, triceps, and forearms. Legs -- like chest -- are usually an afterthought. Meh . . . but it depends what the lifter wants out of all that work. Maybe by this time next year I will shift over to really working chest and legs. You never know.
I like how he didn't even need to bash the guy he was responding to. He just calmly destroys his argument by listing off simple facts about how the gym can indeed be beneficial as long as one does not overdo it.
I work out at the gym three days a week and walk in the park 3 days a week. I spend 6 hours a week exercising to stay in shape, and I do my best thinking while working out.
one of the most important rules of being a student is “know who to listen to” listen to people who have what you want. follow the instructions of those who have attained the results you want
Not hating on ya Sean but you're not familiar with the late great Dr. John McDougall's research that carbs are what permit you to lose weight and maintain your correct weight which corresponds to your height and sex. ;)
The fact this genius couldn't even get the bar a third way up shows that he had no clue how much he could lift and probably doesn't bench regularly or attempt 1RM regularly. Pure ego foolishness.
