What an absolute delight to see a coenobite reunion, Clive Barker is one of my favourite authors & as far as I’m concerned there is only 1 pinhead the incomparable Doug Bradley 😱
I'm literally halfway through the movie and lI came here to tell you all... it's a piece of crap! . It's not even close to the other three films. This movie is overacting and just plain stupid. Spare your time.
You'll be surprised how many appeared in more than one Nightnare film. John Saxton ,Ken Sagoes , Brooke Bundy , Lisa Wilcox , Johnny Depp , Lin Shaye etc., not to mention her brother who was the head honcho of New Line Cinema who made a cameo in every nightmare film. I'm such a godamn nerd I know...
New Nightmare was not a movie it jokingly would look at real life so it's not part of the Elm Street trilogy . the Scream rules no garentee of survival because people can smoke pot drink whatever and yet find a way to survive . " I said take only what you need yo survive . " " it's my endustial strength hair drier and I can't live without it ! " " OK princess that's it the fairy tale is over welcome to real life you want this hot air machine you carry it . " Freddy vs Jason was one of the best seen I'd want to see another also the series Nightmare Cafe which doesn't get talked about like this drama one Dark Justice great shows on television I want them to return once again .
This is painfull to watch, Lance Henrickson is wasted. Tom Skerritt looks disgusted, luckily the nicest lady on the planet, Veronica Cartwright, is next to him, Mark Rolston should have taken this in hand "Drake, we are leaving!"
I would have liked to have seen Alice (Lisa Wilcox) return for Freddys Dead and see her and Lisa Zane interact in the movie. I think their characters would have complimented each other very well and they could have killed Alice off about midway still leading to the big showdown between Freddy and his daughter.
Clive is an absolute genius! I got to meet him in the 80s at a book signing! A wonderfully intense and kind soul! We talked about Lovecraft for quite a while.
Matt is soooo underrated !!! him and Skeet probably have 75% of why Scream is how big it is today they shouldn't be worrying about getting jobs anyway I love these guys and wish them more success
If there's anything the JFK assassination is NOT it's an indictment of the system as it was. It was likely regarded as necessary in order to fully bring to fruition for the sake of the "ordo ab chao" agenda (see the article written by a proponent of that agenda entitled "ORDO AB CHAO" on his website, Gnostic Warrior) the corruption of the system which PERPETUALLY increases in its severity and scope, eroding quality of life and the manifestation of conscience and justice in society, meaning it is worse now that ever. Those who grew up in the 1950s and were therefore the recipients of the utmost beneficence and pleasantness IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY of civilization have no excuse for believing the bhullshit, much less advocating for the current and most extreme forms of it. They are either mindless or psychopathic, and they bear a great deal of the blame and guilt in the subjection of good people to hell on Earth while the most demonic are portrayed falsely as the ultimate victims of good men of the past and present and are coddled to the utmost extent, enjoying all the good things in life that scarcely any member of the designated group of "oppressors" ever experienced in the least in the first place.
Unfortunately though, often what people love so deeply about a given franchise is not what's actually there, but what they interpret or eisegetically interpolate into it, so that if they are given an opportunity to manifest their "vision" of a given thing, it winds up totally different from what some of us view as the defining characteristics and indispensable aspects not to mention what we recognize as things that do not belong. Furthermore, in the case of both Halloween movies that have been released so far involving Danny McBride, the franchise has basically been hijacked to act as a medium to convey the socio-political "messages" of those involved.
"You could freeze on a sexy angle of Lisa Zane..." Not to take anything away from Lisa Zane, but I would be far more likely to do that with Lisa Wilcox in her Part 5 jeans.
Absolute travesty that these two weren’t casted in more movies, so much talent. They should do a buddy cop movie, that shit would be hilarious. Beautiful moment at the end when they hugged, that was wholesome, brothers.
Hollywood needs to do the world a favour and cast Matthew Lillard in more things... he's incredible... Wes Craven said to Matthew that he'd win an Academy Award one day... I want to see that happen. Skeet is also an absolute legend too... would LOVE to see these two in another movie together. Absolute pleasure watching them. They helped make Scream iconic.
His best performance is in SLC Punk. There's a scene near the end where he discovers his best friend dead where his acting is unbelievable. That's a movie scene that's stuck with me for years. It's one of the most realistic portrayals of someone dealing with a very sudden, unexpected tragedy
So jealous... I know that Doug Bradley says he's not going to be in any more conventions until the pandemic and the restrictions end, due to limited attendance which I totally understand... They have canceled every single concert and festival in event in California since this crap started. But it is my dream one day to meet Doug.
Going down a Scream rabbit hole and I've come across a couple of these q and a's and every time Matthew tells that factoid but it's different. Sometimes he says it's R, sometimes PG13, sometimes it's 1 "fuck" sometimes it's 3
@@AndyFelbab Also weirdly found myself down the Scream rabbit hole too. I’ve seen him tell the same story multiple times. Here in the UK it was rated 18.. as in no one under 18 could see it in the cinema or buy it, I think the US equivalent is an R rating. There’s definitely more F bombs than one. Neve Campbell says it twice off the top of my head alone.
