I would have liked to have seen Alice (Lisa Wilcox) return for Freddys Dead and see her and Lisa Zane interact in the movie. I think their characters would have complimented each other very well and they could have killed Alice off about midway still leading to the big showdown between Freddy and his daughter.

I was at this Con. I met everyone, very cool. I had a Freddy Glove and I asked Lisa Zane to wear it and stab me with it for a picture pose. She looked at me and was like um...... No. Well, she was still cool.
You'll be surprised how many appeared in more than one Nightnare film. John Saxton ,Ken Sagoes , Brooke Bundy , Lisa Wilcox , Johnny Depp , Lin Shaye etc., not to mention her brother who was the head honcho of New Line Cinema who made a cameo in every nightmare film. I'm such a godamn nerd I know...
I said it before and I'll say it again: Theres only one Freddy and that's mister Robert Englund. Everytime Robert does a Q&A panel and he starts talking about rebooting Freddy movies the fans including myself starts to moan and groan in despair which was in 13:30. Listen to the crowd when he says "New Freddy" those words does not exist with Team Englund. Which is why the remake was a failure and every Freddy movies that was supposed to come out, ended up being cancelled. And it was nothing against Jackie and whoever else played Freddy, Robert has the gift where he made Freddy into a Rockstar in the horror franchise and genre. He brought something completely special to Freddy which makes him better than everybody, that's right I said it everybody. Now I could see if they kept switching the cast back to back like they kept doing Michael Myers and Jason but no Freddy's is more unique than them because of Robert's performance. He stuck with Freddy all the way, with the original nightmare movies, tv shows, and guest appearances. Then the remake messed up Freddy's reputation and what he was about by making him just like them in the remake..............a typical basic slasher 😒. Overall me as an Robert Englund fan, I understand that Robert can't play Freddy anymore, he's older and he's a little outta shape. If he was in shape then Kevin Bacon wouldn't even be a suggestion. So it's best if they stop trying to make anymore Freddy movies because nobody is going to top Robert and he can't play Freddy anymore😥😥. So I don't mind watching all the originals 1-8 for the rest of my life. #TeamEnglund forever
First of all, yes he does. Secondly, everyone knows he likes to tell stories, and they are fine with that, it's one of the things they like about him. So how about you stop assuming things about people?

New Nightmare was not a movie it jokingly would look at real life so it's not part of the Elm Street trilogy . the Scream rules no garentee of survival because people can smoke pot drink whatever and yet find a way to survive . " I said take only what you need yo survive . " " it's my endustial strength hair drier and I can't live without it ! " " OK princess that's it the fairy tale is over welcome to real life you want this hot air machine you carry it . " Freddy vs Jason was one of the best seen I'd want to see another also the series Nightmare Cafe which doesn't get talked about like this drama one Dark Justice great shows on television I want them to return once again .
"Danny loves Halloween" What a coincidence. I HATE the "Halloween" movie he made. He must "love" Halloween for all the wrong reasons. He is devoid of the character to do justice to such a franchise as is David Gordon Green. They even had the AUDACITY to put their stream of consciousness scat sort of "comedy" bullshit in the movie besides portraying the violence and gore the way they do in their comedy movies, which is not the right tone at all.
Listen Freddy holds near and dear place in my heart I do agree that there's only one but if they finally do a reboot that's worth a crap Robert Englund needs to be in it at some point why not try to reboot the dumpster fire that was Freddy's Dead but this time use the Peter Jackson script get the sour taste out of our mouths and let Robert rest she gave us 10 years of an iconic character in 10 years of himself playing Freddy Krueger is a blessing and a curse it's a blessing because everyone knows who you are and movie come with it it's a curse because you get type casted and nobody sees you as anything else I love Robert Englund just as much as the next person but you will never get another franchise out of him you'll get one or two movies tops which means that there has to be a definitive end to the nightmare
Unfortunately though, often what people love so deeply about a given franchise is not what's actually there, but what they interpret or eisegetically interpolate into it, so that if they are given an opportunity to manifest their "vision" of a given thing, it winds up totally different from what some of us view as the defining characteristics and indispensable aspects not to mention what we recognize as things that do not belong. Furthermore, in the case of both Halloween movies that have been released so far involving Danny McBride, the franchise has basically been hijacked to act as a medium to convey the socio-political "messages" of those involved.
