I have a 21 xlt and so far been to the dealership 4 extra times outside of regular maintenance with the latest fuel injector going bad. Its really got me rethinking my purchase
I have a 2024 Performance 6MT. This is my 5th Z car, and I love them all. FYI- You can get the Sport model with the rear spoiler too. It's true that the Z is rated at 400 horsepower versus the Supra at 382, but at this point we all know that the Supra really makes well over 400. Typical BMW sandbagging. The version of the B58 engine in the current (A91) Supra makes 430+ horsepower at the crank about around 380 at the wheels. The Supra is slightly quicker stock vs stock, but I still like the Z better.
I was absolutely floored when I realized how much rear seat leg room there is in the Touring - like, more room than you're going to find in the Lexus LS460L or LS500. Insane!
Single cab: 1. Cheaper 2. Faster 3. More fuel efficient 4. Higher hauling capacity 5. Better turning radius 6. More off-road capable (shorter wheel base) 7. Heat/AC fill up cab immediately 8. Less stress on engine 9. Less stress on transmission 10. Less stress on suspension 11. Better braking capabilities 12. No blind spots 13. Tires last longer 14. That classic look! 15. You're never the village taxi!
Completely Outrageously Overpriced. $114k for a Non Proven Twin Turbo Hurricane V-6 with potential mechanical issues that could be costly. The non grease able suspension components and, non replaceable ball joints upper and lower means more costly repairs.
Cylinder deactivation sucks on any type of vehicle And they should have left the engine port fuel injection for reliability And a nine speed transmission is gonna be expensive to fix down the road . But looks like honda is just following the crowd
My son just picked up a 2024 carbon edition. I'm truly impressed. It's a great little car and has such an outstanding quality interior. We both agree that whoever designed this car loves thier job.💪
A comment in another review indicated it has a wet belt. They stated a concern about durability and issues of the belt fragments deteriorating into the engine oi.
Can you do the limited trim for this car? I read on iihs that the LED lights are different between the platinum and the others. I have found other videos but it's hard to see the lights, but yours is really good
So I actually just got a kicks and I’ve been on the highway a lot. It does have enough to zip to get up to that 67 miles pretty quick and keep you sitting really nice.
That dash looks like its from 2012. They need a serious update. No power tailgate even at $34k is abysmal. The engine is incredibly weak and laggy. This is, simply put, a terrible offering from VW and pretty embarrassing. If they update the dash, put a bigger engine in it that actually works in American driving conditions, and give it a power tailgate, then they will have a vehicle they can sell. The 0% 60 month financing says it all.
Just bought the 2024 SEL last week. I agree on the no power tailgate but I personally actually prefer the dash to the large protruding tablet look. The tech is all there and can move around. Even has gesture capability plus audio control. When I’m driving in crazy traffic the knobs on the bottom are more intuitive than scrolling thru screens to adjust climate imo.
