When you think 4-cylinder, you probably don't think performance. But the AMG C-Class is absolutely outrageous for a 4-cylinder, especially the upper end of the AMG C-class. Even then, this AMG C43 is bananas.

great video ！！ love to watching your videos. I have a question, I lived in California, I bought my amg c43 on 2023 7-5 and now 2024 4-1 my car has 8726 miles on it, just wanna ask am I driving too much or its just normal milage ？

I cross-shopped the C 43 AMG in 2018 and ultimately bought my second S4. Back then, it had a 3.0 Bi-Turbo V6 The 43 felt very unresponsive with little steering feel, even in "AMG" mode. The new one looks pretty nice, but I'd never consider it with a 4-cylinder... even if it is "outrageous". Just listen to it...

I leased one of these. I came out of a 63 and since the new 63 still isn't available in the US I figured its just a lease, what's the harm in trying one out while they iron out the many bugs they are finding in the new 63? Turns out it also has lots of small annoying bugs in the software but MB seems to figuring it all out and the downloaded updates have cleared most issues. I wouldn't love this car if I bought it but since I am only driving Mr Daimler's car for 36 months, I don't hate it. It is a really fun car to drive in most circumstances. If they just added a 30 more hp to the low end to help it get off the line quicker, it would be fantastic. Once its moving though, it handles and brakes as well as any other AMG I have driven and its really fun to throw around on a twisty road. Don't shit all over it because of the 4-pot unless you spent some time behind the wheel on some fun driving roads and still have issues with the car.

@JB-sm4zt I haven't had engine failure issues but software bugs are constantly popping up. It's always back at the dealership for software patches and updates. Never had a significant failure though. It's just annoying to deal with. I hear they are getting it all sorted out now and I have been having better luck lately. The car is fun to drive so I don't hate it as much as I probably should!

Nobody in their right mind is going to pay $70k for a 4 cylinder. The 63s is dying in sales as well. But they are charging $125k for 4 cylinder. Remember Mercedes crack is a powerful drug that creates disillusionment…since you expect these vehicles to sell

@@Frankie5Angels150 my Ex sells these and brought one to me tonight for a test drive. I’ve owned more than my share of German luxury/sport sedans, and this thing is just a blast to drive. I’ve owned/own 6 cylinder NA, 6 and 8 cylinder turbos, and I didn’t miss those extra cylinders earlier this evening. For me, a sports oriented car should be fun to drive, and this thing knocked it out of the park. There’s a reason that my slug E30 M3 that I sold in 1999 for $10K would bring $80K min in 2024, it’s the driving experience, not the spec sheet. The E30 delivered, and IMO so does this. Sold.
