You allow me to raise a varant of question where you get the name Imhotep It seem quite clear. You have Noclue whaever as to who he was nor his desendant during Imhotep there was no Kemet nor were there was noAfrica. Yet there was Egypt its apauling. ThT u could make a bold statement claiming that. SunRian was black if you say dome were that would be nmuch more plasable inmKeing a blanket statement such as u did all you ave done is distroyed the preefix on ur structure Did you know the surmarian xame about from a mixture of nordite and adamite they came from no where e they disapere in thin air Another acurrance in ur norrative thre were no notation of why the artifact are in green in the prymid. OsIrious could never be a Etiopian tho admit such nonsence is sapying Ethiopian are paGans grosley incorrect
Didn’t it come out that Black Lives Matter we’re stealing money and buying mansions in white neighborhoods and not giving it to poor black people? It was a grift. Good job falling for it. 🗑️ woke channel
Such a fatally flawed first appearance of my all-time favorite superhero. It would've been a failure, but Batman would become National Publications's best selling character in time.
My all-time favorite superhero comic. Although I prefer Batman personally when it comes to superheroes, ALL-STAR SUPERMAN is more than just a cohesive Superman story that collects the best of the character; it's also helped me on a personal level, learning not to be sorry for myself.
@@TheComicsCube ok, until 2021, I was always used to being hard on myself after a mistake and thought to myself: "I deserve being beaten to death." But once I read this miniseries, I have learned to forgive myself for those mistakes. No amount of fatalism and self-pity will erase any wrong I made previously; I can only move forward by trying not to repeat those very mistakes again and work on being a better person.
The best thor run of all. Every few years, I re-read simonsons thor run with the trade paperbacks, that's how good it is. I last re-ead the whole run during the first lockdown in 2020. Love the North mythology elements in this thor run
Just finished reading promethea. Great story by Alan and incredibly beautiful art work by J.H Williams the third. I think I have to read it many times to fully understand the story. And this is even though I have studied religion, mythology, philosophy and psychology for more than 20 years. So it's a good read, but not an easy read. Will probably also look through it many times just to enjoy the artwork 😃👍
Interesting how the duck comics have been wildly popular in a few European countries, but not as much elsewhere. It was huge in the Nordic countries where I grew up.
I liked his Flash work. He captured the character and he always had plot twists that kept the reader guessing. John Broome was THE Flash writer, but Waid is certainly number two. I liked his work on the FF and Cap, as well. I liked his fill-ins on JLA during Morrisson's run.
I thought the 'Crisis' episode was the final episode of the season. Anyhoo this is a great way to end the season. Unless you got more surprises Duy!!! Either way take care good sir👍
We've got a schedule that corresponds to each week of the month (a creator interview on the first Monday, a read through the second, a retrospective the third, and a wild card that's usually another interview on the fourth), with the one exception being this past December. The livestreams are usually as needed. We're taking a break from the regular schedule from now until July, but we'll still have some special episodes and livestreams!
Oh man, seeing them continue this idea with different heroes, and not just stopping at Wonder Woman, sounds sooooooo coool and exciting, can’t wait to buy Dark Age tomorrow and see what this great duo have in store!
Duy is absolutely right. DC wanted to be Roy Thomas so bad. But they forgot that the DC history is its greatest strength (and absolute advantage over Marvel). Crisis messed up the chronological importance: -Superman was no longer the FIRST superhero. -Batman and Robin were not DC’s first team. -Mon-EL never met a young Clark Kent. -DC SPECIAL #29 never happened. -The Superman/Batman team ups in World’s Finest never happened. Crisis caused far more damage than solutions. In my opinion, COIA is remembered for four things: -George Perez’s magnificent art. -The Death of The Flash -Superman carrying a dead Supergirl -Making Wally West the Flash. DC has a great history. Crisis tried to erase it.
