Slott and Allred's Silver Surfer is probably my all time favorite comic. It was so great hearing Mike talk about it! It's interesting to hear that Dan wrote full scripts for the series. There is something really unique about the Slott/Allred Silver Surfer. It kind of feels like lightning in a bottle. I remember when the series was announced and I saw the cover. I just had this weird feeling where I thought "I need to buy this issue to issue. This is gonna be something special" and I was right.

David Bowie & Marc Bolan wrote a song called MADMAN in 1977. It was never released but has been bootlegged countless time. The Cuddly Toys did release a cover in 1980.
