Honesty is the best advice o other then long drawn out means nothing more then what I've said. Be aware of the advice tips. Unless you know the people who are dropping the advice. Stay well informed at all times. Good luck all!!
So I been selling mine for $45. I get my wood from a local lumber yard here but if yu was gonna go to lowes or home depot or something like that id say it would cost around 20 dollars to get the material to make from a place like that. And honestly yu can sell these for way more! The people that have purchased some from me have said I should charge way more so yu can definitely get whatever price yu put on it just do it your own way and add your own special touch to it!! Thanks for watching! Glad to have yu on the channel as well🙂

I think you meant edge grain board. You would have needed to recut the board after the first glue up in order to expose the end grain. But still, a nice board.

I'm curious why you made face grain cutting boards instead of edge grain.. Face grain shows knife marks far more than edge or end grain which makes it easier for bacteria to grow and fluids to soak into the wood..
A lot more work for end grain and a lot of material Face grain cutting boards have been made for a long time and they're perfectly fine if the knife marks bother you after prolonged usage just take it out to the garage and sand it down and put some new oil on it it'll be alright and if you aint cleaning your cutting board after each use then that's a you problem lol
Good question but I make all kinds of different cutting boards because some people like them better a certain way so I try to open up a wide variety for people to choose from. Also any cutting boards I sell I make sure the buyers know that after a couple years or whatever the knife marks will take away its original look so I refinish it for them no charge when there ready to get rid of the knife marks.
@@RogersTM87 Ahh.. I suppose offering a wider selection if you have the customer base does make more sense.. I'm just starting out myself and make mostly edge grain.. End grain gets too time consuming and can waste material if you aren't really experienced.. I appreciate the response!
Does it come with a carry case like the cheaper bulkier one with the pistol handle? Or is it just packaged in a plastic card with maybe a cheap zip up fabric carry bag?
No it unfortunately dont come with one but I bought one of those good klein bags to put it in with its acsesories. Yu can normally find them at lowes where all the klein stuff is. There is two different bags so witch ever yu would like be good. Also I seem some nice ones from kobalt where the tool bags and boxes and knee pads is at lowes yu should see them there.
I’m a professional and use it everyday BUT you have to use it for it’s engineered purpose. It’s not designed to drive medium to large fasteners especially lag bolts, you did this tool a disservice by misrepresenting it. It’s designed for HVAC, electricians, appliance and electronics repair. You will be disappointed if you expect it to drive deck screws and lags !! I suggest you re-do your video and use this tool as designed, if for nothing else to establish credibility as a new channel.
I was showing how it had power unlike most the screwdrivers and I said in the video this is for fixing electronic and stuff like that and for HVAC and other stuff. Its perfect for putting small fasteners. And stuff. No its not designed for bolts and lags and stuff like that. Its for whoever is on jobs or diy or whatever and they see a reason to use the dewalt screwdriver instead of dragging out the drill. I use it all the time for electric work putting fasteners and little clamps and stuff where a drill is hard to get to.
Showed it driving medium lags and screws to show its "torque" I dod not do that to show that is what it is for just to show a point on its power... Everyone wants to k kw its power and thats why I showed drivung those screws and lag. Its not for that at all. Just a demonstration to show it true "torque "
